@DavidOlusoga black history is not taught in school. Maybe a TV series on black history for years 9-13? Schools given a free copy to use with discussion questions. @bbc or @ITV would help. Maybe an organisation that profiteered from slavery would help fund the distribution?

@dazza6069 @MrJohnNicolson @ITV Thing A is bad so don’t try to fix Thing B which is also bad. (Or presumably Thing C, D etc). What a ridiculous world view.

@NFLUK @ITV Pugs are awful looking dogs and no one will convince me otherwise.

@MrJohnNicolson @ITV You’ve asked ITV to agree he’ll not appear on screen again - that should certainly do the trick John - I jolly well wish I’d thought of that! Your brilliant intervention shall surely bring these terrible people to their knees and rid them of their careers (hopefully right?)

Misogyny and abuse is Their brand: Kevin Lygo, @ITV 's media and entertainment boss, described the comments made by Clarkson as "awful" but said there were no plans to replace him as a host of the gameshow Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

@MrJohnNicolson @ITV Don't be so tyranical. Clarkson has judged Markle to be of such low character that she deserves the worst insults he can write about her. He has vented the disgust for most of the nation who feel the same about her and in doing so has burst her public bubble of respectability.

@MrJohnNicolson @ITV Ah, cancel culture at its finest. I think his comments were OTT but it's really up to the public to shun his books, TV shows etc to hit him where it might hurt. Whilst we're at it can we please cancel Netflix and their awful Harry/Meghan show. I find them more offensive tbh.

@MrJohnNicolson @ITV How about you focus on the issues we have in Scotland? You’ve wasted more time on this than you seem to spend on the disaster that is your Narionalist parties country

@AnaShirsat @TheLondonHughes @ITV If you're gonna pick on one of 'em, you'd better pick on 'em all, especially the worst offenders: the Queen, the Queen Mother, Camilla, and Catherine. The most senior ladies wear the biggest (and most problematic) jewels.

Absolutely outrageous that Harry Potter, James Bond or Indiana Jones isn’t on any channel this Christmas. Fix up @BBC @ITV

@MrJohnNicolson @ITV Oh yeah, because MPs have a right to decide what people want to watch. You should be helping to solve the problems of this country that you've created, not telling us who we can hate or love, or asking ITV to sack someone who lots of people still want to watch. HELP THE COUNTRY?
