@GBPolitcs @ITV Not suprising. University isn’t a place for intellectuals anymore; it’s just a place for spoilt brats to go and have a few years partying and skiving off work.

@GBPolitcs @ITV Under Labour it pays more to do this than get a job. Why go to work for less money?

@JPF369369369 @GBPolitcs @ITV Pay tens of thousands of pounds to study at Uni, obtain a degree and get despondent when you're only offered low-grade, low paid work. Only in Britain.

@GBPolitcs @ITV Outrageous really. Government is supporting too many people to 'not work' by choice and not doing enough to support those, who would love to work, but cannot because of health or injury. It's appalling really.

@GBPolitcs @ITV Half truth that. 400,000 of the 700k were claiming Universal Credit, while only 240,000 are claiming benefits for sickness. Also... that's such a small minority that it's close being a non issue

@Dalkent13 @GBPolitcs @ITV Well i definetely think thats part of the problem and its a shame that many uni students are having issues with not getting into the work they studied for

@GBPolitcs @ITV also “It said 707,000 graduates aged 16 to 64 were out of work and claiming one or more benefits in 2024” so obviously misleading headline of “graduates” suggests young people when it’s actually the entire population of university graduates

@GBPolitcs @ITV They are highly intelligent, why would you work in the uk when you can claim benefits? The whole system is broken.
