  • KevinGaynor4 Kevin Gaynor (@KevinGaynor4) reported from Bedford, England

Hypocritical you and ITV claiming to support mental illness while your presenter seems to go out of his way to damage any good work your program and channel does i don't like Piers Morgan he's a liar and narcissist and still a hack but he's your problem when he steps out of line

  • OnlyMyron MYЯӨП BΛЯƬᄂΣƬƬ 🏳️‍🌈🎮🇬🇧 (@OnlyMyron) reported from Stevenage District, England

@dolantalks As much as I dislike Love Island. The show was not the issue. Her private life was and the lack of support from ITV. The media and social media are the problem, as people like to troll. This could have played out, even if she worked on a different show.

@Peston @ITV True British way; a problem, solve a problem with another problem then complain about problems. They just need to get on with it.

  • NoMagRyan Anti-Growth Coalition CEO (@NoMagRyan) reported

@Peston @ITV Goodness, how dreadful if we ended up with an awful prime minister as a result! Can't even begin to imagine what that would be like

  • oldbearchris Blimey, it’s him again! (@oldbearchris) reported

@Peston @ITV And how do you get credentials securely to members? All sorts of GDPR implications. Also, the age of the membership won’t help here. I’m guessing if you can get someone’s email, you can guess a variant of Passw0rd to use their vote.

  • 2years0plan 2years0plan (@2years0plan) reported

@Peston @ITV So a malicious actor could manipulate the poll to elect a deliberately terrible prime minister and inflict untold damage upon the country. Okay, but how would we notice any difference.

  • MRoe01 mary roe (@MRoe01) reported

    @Peston @ITV God help us!

  • BrentWR Brentwr (@BrentWR) reported

@Peston @ITV Absolute nonsense. So easy to protect against this. You’re a dinosaur that probably can’t even work his laptop and yet you are acting as though you’re a tech expert

  • MrsNorthWestern MollyDA (@MrsNorthWestern) reported

@AlexAnd09667880 @ITV Stirring up trouble and resentment when there is no need. Most people in this country are tolerant and friendly.

  • kelehan_kevin3 Kevin Kelehan #FBPE (@kelehan_kevin3) reported

@Peston @ITV General election in December would solve that problem

  • dickonb dickon bevington (@dickonb) reported

@Peston @ITV Arguably, with the unrevealed paymaster for the Pied Piper of @iealondon who led Truss and Kwarteng by their noses into the radical free-marketeering budget madness, this wouldn't be so new a problem as you suggest.

  • BenObeseJecty Ben Obese-Jecty (@BenObeseJecty) reported

@Peston @ITV There was electronic voting in the summer. Why is it suddenly a problem now?
