@gillesoffthenet @JohnBrewin_ We had something like that for the kitchen. BBC1 around 21, ITV around 25, BBC2 around 27 and C4 around 30. Then nothing. I used to think that was a terrible waste.

  • hanahawkins
Hannah Hawkins (@hanahawkins) reported from Brentwood, England

ITV failed Caroline Flack. Money making Ant McPartlin who could of killed tons of people drink driving was fully supported. They literally dropped her like a stone when she obviously had issues. Just awful.

  • telos32
David Weller (@telos32) reported from Price Town, Wales

@ClamDiving @sidibongo @BBCRadio4 @amolrajan Actually, ITV would probably be the biggest compainer if the BBC was forced to take advertising. There is only so much money to go around. And analysts have said that advertisers would love to be associated with quality BBC programming.

@OwenRogers @joeschmoagogo @rivermagic123 @ryancampbell84 @glenmeskell @bbcpress @BBC Well, duh!! I have no issues with Sky, ITV, ITN, Channels 4 or 5, et al. Whether I watch them or not is my choice, as it is with the BBC. However, unlike the latter, they don't insist that I fund them. They don't have courts to protect them. They stand or fail on their own.......
