@darkestflameboy I literally could not agree more. It’s awful that ITV won’t take a greater stand against and show they don’t tolerate blatant discrimination. Look at how he took the mick out of Greta too, that’s bullying and offensive. I honestly don’t get why no one stands up to his power from

@ashnw95 But as a legal issue, his employers should have no choice. He has every right to hold his views, but as an employer, ITV's legal responsibility should be to take action when an employee uses discriminatory, inflammatory language in the workplace, as with any other employer.

@Stephii_O But specifically as a legal issue. He is in a workplace, being paid by an employer that not only takes no apparent disciplinary action, but encourages the sharing of his discriminatory views for gain. ITV has other employees who it has a legal responsibility to. I'm baffled.

@NigelBromley1 @julianknight15 @CommonsCMS Because if you didn’t bbc would then take a large amount of itvs revenue from advertising causing itv to drastically cut its quality and quantity of output . In addition bbc could never through subscriptions or advertising make up all the lost license revenue meaning a cut there

  • Tommy_Byrn Tommy (@Tommy_Byrn) reported

@sunfl0werdw That’s not how this works, this was paid leave if you want to support Piers being gone stop watching itv as a whole, that’s it it’s that easy. Tuning in while he’s gone does quite literally nothing but help his show, this is exactly what they want

  • hailsb87 Hayley Barnden (@hailsb87) reported

The irony of #ITV launching #britaingettalking days after we lost Andrew is painful. Help make sure that doesn't happen to more people

  • Connaugh 💀 Spooky McDingdong 🎃 (@Connaugh) reported

ITV are using Piers Morgan's temporary departure as a publicity stunt. Agree or disagree with him, using the issues people are discussing to promote this network / show is just real ******* scummy.

  • kingstonthames0 David F (@kingstonthames0) reported

@yasminA46580130 @itvcorrie @OfficialNTAs It has to be done as much as I love ITV they are taking the proverbial. I know people who have been sectioned because they haven't had their fix. It's just wrong on so many levels.

  • mcstam Matthew Stammers (@mcstam) reported

@GMB @piersmorgan @benjaminbutter @ITV is the problem here. Purposefully setting up a pair of plonkers to try and cause controversy and engage in a divisive shouting match. Give me the actual news on @BBCNews any day.
