@itv have encouraged @piersmorgan to be controversial- to the point he’s received death threats and has panic buttons in his house with a young daughter in there. I’m not surprised he’s stressed out - anyone thinking @alexberesfordTV is the answer, god help us all #Piers

@Chrissy2k2 @ITV Thats the major problem with TV, ratings seem to stand for more than morals. I would have had a great deal of respect for GMTV bosses if they had sacked him, I'm just glad Alex had the guts to stand up to him.

@piepew Just needs taking down for hacking dead peoples phones now and some of the karma in the world will be put right. @ITV hope the ratings have been worth giving this guy a wage for, more work to be done to show a real step away seeing as you have enabled this constant bile.

I once met @piersmorgan whilst doing a day on @GMB as part of an @ITV scheme. He asked me where I was from and said he was sure we would work together in the future. That didn't happen. Yet. Fast forward to an awards event where I winked at Piers to say hi. He said 'Hi Andre".
