@darrengrimes_ Channel 4 is an exemplar of how a public boby should work: it’s completely self funding, is independent of any commercial forces which it means it can concentrate on its job: providing quality programming and unbiased news (provided for them by ITV!).

@andreapearceuk @ITV Why does it matter? We’re a 95% white country and hopefully companies choose people based on their skills and not colour. The work force represents the occupants of the country.

@andreapearceuk @ITV The big issue is how do you change it? Have a quota, promote people up before they are ready, bursaries for POC? When broadcasters had training programmes it was getting better, now it’s back to who you know.
