    @_PaulHayward I knew it was to happen,and some may say when it did there was no match play at that time,makes no difference it spoiled it ! 45mins,no ads, too big and ask from @ITV @ITVSport ? I'd like to know how they decided when to do it too,was there a slight delay in broadcasting? AWFUL!

  • TobiasJBax Toby (@TobiasJBax) reported

    @JackoRugby The ones moaning have no idea of the cost to bring live sport to an audience that doesn’t have to pay a single penny towards it! @ITV , great work!

  • DianeMurray23 Diane Murray (@DianeMurray23) reported

    @GMB Can you explain something I've been struggling to make sense of: why did @ITV turn a blind eye when platforming Ferguson as recently as 18mnths to 2 yrs ago? That kind of platforming adds to the pain of victims everywhere. You were part of the problem and should also apologise.

  • bahearn1 The Bear (@bahearn1) reported

    @cutlerstom @ITV If it helps to keep free to air rugby for wider audience I honestly don’t see the problem. One 30 second advert each half while there is a setup going on for a scrum is hardly earth shattering, especially as it’s a split screen and you don’t actually miss any action 🙄

  • rkhargreaves Rich Hargreaves / Wickerrman (@rkhargreaves) reported

    @jonoread It's downright awful, stop this **** now @ITV

  • RJDhowzat Bob Depledge (@RJDhowzat) reported

    @roycenr @ITV Over reaction!!!!! 2 split screen ads, one in each half. Not a problem. Isn’t every split screen advert an additional financial boost towards keeping 6N free to view?

  • YorkshireToon G Toon (@YorkshireToon) reported

    @cutlerstom @ITV Problem is, sports events are big money spinners for tv. DYK a 30 second slot, at half time, during the Super Bowl on Sunday costs $10m!!! That's why film studios promote movies then, but some are not doing it because of the cost. IE last year was $8m a slot. That's crazy money

  • iandavidson1982 Ian Davidson (@iandavidson1982) reported

    @cutlerstom @ITV Not really a surprise. ITV player is one of the worst platforms for streaming shows. Literally 20 minutes of ads on a 40 minute show, followed by ads at the end and an extra ad before the show restarts for good measure. Is it any wonder people torrent stuff?

  • Oldpuddle Oldpuddle (@Oldpuddle) reported

    Dear @ITV, Don’t do that awful cheap and nasty ad thing ever again during any sporting event. Have some respect for the spirit of the game, the players and the audience. Oldpuddle x
