The biggest issue with this format is that they didn’t broadcast the sessions on ITV, so you’ll watch Quali on Saturday and then on Sunday you’ll hear Jim Rosnethal tell you another driver was on pole. Madness.

@gillesoffthenet @JohnBrewin_ We had something like that for the kitchen. BBC1 around 21, ITV around 25, BBC2 around 27 and C4 around 30. Then nothing. I used to think that was a terrible waste.

@RossMc11 @mumoss Pretty sure it was Blind Date, but I know ITV used to flash the numbers up after the draw and then go to a newsflash at the next commercial break to read out the numbers properly. I bought a lottery ticket on the first day of issue. Kept the ticket, but no idea where it is now.

@sofiaakel I didn’t know Richard Madeley was back on morning TV. Is @ITV so devoid of new talent, or a willingness to develop young people, that they must resurrect presenters from the past? Awful interview style, loves own voice, not interested in response of interviewee. 😡

Sick + tired of Madeley on GMB. Being sanctimonious doesn't make someone a good journalist. Scrutinising fat cat bosses , leaving the studio, living a bit of a railworkers everyday life would. @ITV/ @Channel4News should do some undercover investigative work to settle truths/myths
