@GMB @CraigDavid @ITV Giving u a one off payment doesn't tackle the problem it covers the rise for 12 months whilst getting people used to the fact it's staying and rising from its current prices

  • AndyM85724805 Andy M (@AndyM85724805) reported

@GMB @CraigDavid @ITV Good news if people get support. Not sure why the issue cannot be tackled at source though. We have no choice but to move on but must remember in readiness for the next election and vote with our feet

  • ramsfan1954 Ian Liddle (@ramsfan1954) reported

@GMB @CraigDavid @ITV Yes, the general public are sick to the back teeth of it ! Let’s get #durhamgate over, fines issued resignations etc and move on to serious matter. I think now that #partygate is finished we’ll see the government move up through the gears and get issues resolved

  • justsayingok2 Just Saying (@justsayingok2) reported

@GMB @AnastaciaMusic @ITV Of course it's wrong, if a company has to pay employees more the cost of their goods and services has to go up, so the cost of living goes up even more. Plus if they don't want to work give their jobs to one of the thousands who lost their jobs due to COVID.

  • marcyeboah Marc Blackburn ALAW (@marcyeboah) reported

@GMB @AnastaciaMusic @ITV Not wrong to strike, they are fighting for their rights! The Government have been resisting calls for weeks, they are shaking their magic money tree which is endless when they need to buy their way out of trouble

  • HitchcockSimon Simon Hitchcock (@HitchcockSimon) reported

@GMB @AnastaciaMusic @ITV The question should be is it wrong to withhold support until announcing it will help draw attention from the Sue Grey report.

  • Likemindschange Sharon #3.5% (@Likemindschange) reported

@GMB @CraigDavid @ITV Not moving on. Let him limp on till the next GE so the whole Tory machine that supports him goes too. Public money to help with #FuelPrices abets soaring energy company private profits. Do they have the guts to truly stand up for the British taxpayer. That would be sovereignty

  • NigelLe18211679 The Daggit (@NigelLe18211679) reported

@GMB @CraigDavid @ITV Fuel poverty, cutting taxes on peoples duel fuel bills, is no more than offsetting the problem, the money has to come from where??? Never mind about oh if we hit the providers of fuel for a windfall tax, will reduce investment! What utter 🐂 they receive billions in green levies!

  • ryanredmond87 RyanRedmond🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏳️‍🌈🇵🇸FBPE/woke&proud (@ryanredmond87) reported

@GMB @AnastaciaMusic @ITV Usually fully support strikes but when it’s going to disrupt people getting to work for much needed money then yes it’s bad timing and can’t see them getting any sympathy where as normally the entire country would be behind them

  • ReverendJt Reverend-JT (@ReverendJt) reported

@GMB @AnastaciaMusic @ITV What's wrong, is holding back a £10bn package to help with the cost of living crisis until it can be used to distract from the sue gray report. It's all just a game to them isn't it?
