@emmaj9612 I've just had similar issues with them and this year's #LeMans24. A total of 17,000 advert breaks (slight exaggeration) and a bi-hourly analysis show that left me screaming at the TV! Think I'll stick with ITV for the TDF this year.

@Simonjhbenson @Ghoul_of_London There was a good talk last year by the archivist of an Old ITV franchise at Hampstead Photo Soc. Brideshead Revisited was made to pass the quality test ahead of Granada bidding to renew their franchise. ITV Franchises also had to have a decent regional offering.

@itvpresscentre @ITV This show would be better done in the desert like Arizona for instance or up a mountain in Scotland somewhere. @ITV Can you ask the people filming to use some lighting on @emmerdale ? It's unwatchable as it's mainly filmed in dark rooms. Not sure what effect you are trying to achieve, but it looks awful. Compared to other TV shows, you might have a camera problem.
