  @HisenseUK Hi, said in frustration at the time, when an app failed again. Appreciate they aren’t hisense apps but always have trouble with iPlayer & itv hub etc, often unusable but work fine via nowtv, only problems on the hisense tv. Other things like the TV guide very slow & unresponsive.

  @ProducerScott @ITV @BBCNews @loosewomen My partner is a midwife... they are paid overtime using a difference system, this means “2nd job tax” they have been fighting this for a while and have been told nothing will change.   @TheSimonC90 At a push, Channel 4. I suspect we'd get a more creative entry. ITV and Channel 5 would be a car crash. I suspect none of the other networks realise the money and work involved, however. There is nothing to stop the BBC doing an amazing job, however. They simply don't want to.

  As @ITV scrap their two sitcoms, boss @kevinlygo says the future of scripted comedy on ITV remained “quite bleak”. “Audiences can get their fix of character-based comedy from Corrie.”" And with that ITV just lost the last vestige of interest I had in them as a broadcaster.

  @richuk3 @ITV Monotone, traps his voice at the back of the throat, also cracks at vital moment. Just a horrible voice for commentary. Also has no way with words, will come up with turgid verbal soups of nothingness while Tyldesley nails it in one word or Mowbray embraces silence. Yes, awful.
