What a pathetic cheap shot @robertpeston took at @LizzTrussPM in his question today He just cannot help himself massaging his own ego at every opportunity @ITV should be a shamed of his treacherous attitude that does nothing for the trade of journalism,he is more like an old hack

@ITV what happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty? The decision to remove Viewpoint from primetime and share the detail of the issue with the public, ahead of any fair hearing, will automatically create prejudice - typical of British press and media, just wrong!

@BBCBreaking @ITV whilst the trial by media is in full swing, what about the work by all the other people who worked in this show?? I truly hope when an actual trial occurs and if found not guilty, I hope he takes you to the cleaners. Didn't any of you learn from the Cliff Richard's case?

@IndiaWilloughby @ITV I agree he should not work till an investigation is complete, but on a show like this there are masses of others that are being found guilty by association. This surely isn't fair on them. Comparing to a lone priest is an unfair comparison .

I understand that @ITV and other stations would choose not to work in future with Noel Clarke but why punish everyone else involved in a programme with him by pulling existing productions off air?

@Rammo74_MCFC @ITV WOW..... You’re right - we should also do reruns of Jim’ll fix it - I mean it’s not like it’s live

@StrattonTweets @ITV I'm so sick of seeing these moaners complaining about their show not being on... I think there are far more important issues and allegations to focus on than an ITV show.

@paulmetz @itvnews @ITV Quite! And all the right-on institutions who are terrified of being behind the curve. He may be guilty, who knows, but the rush to convict - with anyone these days - is a terrible trend, don’t you think?

@PKA_1979 @ITV He has been 'dropped' by the companies he is involved in. Dropped means contracts terminated. No work. No money. In the public sector you can be suspended on full pay, but not here. I have no bias. If he is guilty, throw away the key, but all parties need their day in court

Wtf!!!! How terrible to scrap the last episode of #Viewpoint so all that hard work of all the actors and staff involved with us investing all week into the drama for @itv to replace it with crap! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

@trishvoice @ITV Oh I'd agree it's part of the problem but in my view it's wrong to demonise it. Not saying I know it all. It's just my experience. I can lose weight and still have sugar in my diet.
