@LloydsBank Branch suggests call phone banking. Phone banking recorded message (after lengthy security check) says we can't take your call (no queue option) please look online. But it's an online account problem (screen message) that referred me to my branch. The loop of doom.

@LloydsBank I have been trying to make a payment to my John Lewis credit card it has not gone through 3 times today saying payment could not be made with error code 9131700 are you aware of an issue?

@LloydsBank I have made a payment to another credit card which was fine so I think it is an issue with John Lewis finance I will give them a call

@LloydsBank I have checked local call rates which could be as much as 55p per minute. So us holding will have so far cost about £50!!!!! And all to pay for a service with you!!

@antlerboy Terrible saga(s) in these threads. I recently called the special number which @LloydsBank has for customers over 70, answered promptly by helpful human (no options) who seemed to have power to deal with things. Delightful experience. (Outcome opposite of what we agreed, tho.)
