Lloyds Bank Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Onthehorizon (@read292) reported@LloydsBank why does your website state that cheques can be banked on a Sunday. I drove to a branch in a city centre and nothing was available.
-
🦕♿🦖 (@EveleenWinters) reported@LloydsBank is down for transactions etc.
-
- (@lb_2561) reported@DavidWebbTweet @jonniespence @LloydsBank David, kindly, get with the times you old fart. Biometrics are far more secure than passwords. Regardless, they do not have to inform you. It is an update that has been advertised on their website. It does not leave anyone open to hacking at all. All it means is, 1/2
-
Andrew (@bigman_andrew) reported@LloydsBank That's the problem. In error I selected my old Lloyds credit card instead of my new one so need to transfer it across
-
John Henderson (@westrowhendo) reported@LloydsBank @laze83 He has a point. A branch is of little help if it's not open when most people can get to it. Can you explain the thinking, if any, that led to these odd opening hours? It's as unhelpful as the short lived shop on a commuter estate we lived on that only opened weekdays 10am - 5pm.
-
Andrew (@bigman_andrew) reported@LloydsBank I've done a balance transfer to my old Lloyd's card instead of my new one, are you able to help me as I'm keen to avoid another balance transfer fee if possible please?
-
Kiborocket (@kiborocket) reported@LloydsBank Hi I've already done that plus worked with your tech team this morning. It's not isolated to me other customers I've spoken to today have same issue
-
David Webb (@DavidWebbTweet) reported@FreeAndyT @LloydsBank But they take the settings from the app on your phone and apply them to your account. That means when you log in from any PC it doesn't ask for your password. Obviously PCs aren't equipped to check fingerprints or anything so the security is very weak.

Uchechi Osuji (@UchechiOsuji3) reported@LloydsBank Lloyds bank, you have locked me out of my account for 2 months and refused to send OTP to my address to unlock my account. All the efforts I made to get help from your unprofessional call handlers proved abortive because none of them seems to know what to do. I guess no training.
-
Andrew Moore (@AndrewM54363806) reported@LloydsBank @JasonBeggs1 This error has been occuring for me for at least 3 weeks. It's an app issue occuring to multiple people. Trying to get someone to understand this is proving difficult.
-
John (@palacejohn) reported@LloydsBank why is there no facility for your customers to contact you using the banking app other than communication with useless robots. Dreadful customer service service.
-
Steph Murray (@DerekDonkey1977) reported@LloydsBank Why are there 2 people sat at a customer information desk with no customers yet there are 9 people in the queue waiting and have been for over 10 minutes 🤦🤷🤔
-
RatBags (@MrRatbags) reported@LloydsBank How on earth are you not yet supporting Samsung pay!!! I'm actually thinking of moving my Bank to @Barclays OR @HSBC as they got the memo and support Samsung pay. Disappointed

-
Honey Bunny (@HoneyBu65587062) reported@DavidWebbTweet @anthslife @LloydsBank That is nothing new. It's been like that for months. You can choose biometric login (face/fingerprint) for faster access on the app, but you will still need to know your password, especially if the device does not recognize your biometrics. But not on laptop
-
mihall (@chatsharris11) reported@LloydsBank the year is 2026 and in order to get a loan you have to rely on posted application forms as their online app for a loan doesn't work. What a joke, plus customer service no help, loyal customer over 25 years #shambles
-
Blake (@BlakeAntcliff) reported@JasonBeggs1 @LloydsBank probably need to clear out your cache on whatever device you're running it on (unless it's an older device in which case it might not ne compatible any more due to security issues.
-
Andrew Moore (@AndrewM54363806) reported@LloydsBank Hi Anand. Can you acknowledge this issue is being investigated?
-
Kiborocket (@kiborocket) reported@LloydsBank still no working app getting on for two weeks now when will this issue be resolved
-
Shan (@Shan29687548) reportedTotally disappointed with the service I have received from @LloydsBank regarding a debit card dispute. The customer service was absolutely shocking 😳. Life was so much simpler when you could walk into a local branch and speak to a person face to face.
-
Simon Cook (@simo67uk) reported@LloydsBank Tried to transfer £500 to an account that has been linked to my current account for years. Transaction blocked and online access to account removed. Told to call fraud line in order to reactivate. Rang and message states a 30 minute wait as you’re busy. Not happy

Sam Boboev (@samboboev) reportedFintech Rundown (04/05) - @coinbase, @LloydsBank, @stripe Banks just tried to kill your crypto rewards, and they almost won. But Coinbase just secured a massive backdoor deal in the Senate that changes everything for the US stablecoin bill. Here’s why your wallet is about to get a lot more interesting First, Coinbase vs. The Senate. We’ve been stuck in this weird loop where crypto firms couldn't offer 'interest' because banks were terrified of deposit flight. Well, a deal was just cut. They’re allowing rewards for 'bona fide usage.' It’s the loophole the industry needed to finally legitimize stablecoin yields without scaring the regulators to death. If you were waiting for the 'all clear' signal from D.C., this is it. Next, Lloyds Bank just launched 'Envoy.' This is a massive jump. It’s an internal platform that lets their teams build AI agents, but they’re actually using it in the boardroom to synthesize confidential reports. Think about that: a bank giving an AI agent access to sensitive, non-public board materials to help make executive decisions. We aren't just automating customer support; we’re automating the C-suite. And the biggest move of the week: Stripe is building 'Agentic Commerce.' They’re teaming up with Google to put Stripe directly into Gemini. You’ll be able to tell an AI agent, 'Book me a trip and pay the deposit,' and it’s actually going to pull from a one-time virtual card to finalize the transaction. Stripe is basically turning your browser into a wallet for robots. If you’re not tracking how AI agents will handle payments, you’re missing the next trillion-dollar shift. The pattern is clear: first, AI gets a brain; now, it’s getting a wallet. What happens when your AI colleague makes a bad investment with your budget? Drop your thoughts below—let's yap about it. 👉 Interested in sponsoring these conversations and reaching a global fintech audience? Send me a message.

-
Holly_thedog (@hollyandpippa) reported@Aliens84174864 @LloydsBank A significant number of complaints take 8 weeks. The average response time apparently is 5 days although that’s just for them to call you back not sort out the problem. Maybe ask for a DSAR and also ask what compensation you may be due if any for the inconvenience
-
David Webb (@DavidWebbTweet) reported@DarthFuzz @LloydsBank It's also the internet login *****. I don't use the app.
-
Paul Smith (@Dark_God) reported@LloydsBank Just got off the phone asking if someone could justify the 17.6% raise in business banking charges. Not only could you not justify the figure but the person couldn't name a single service I was getting for the raise. Justify a 17%+ raise after a 70% raise 2 years ago
-
Adele Farrell (@adele_mckenzie) reported@LloydsBank Too late, no one is contacting us due to now having the business account closed. We have contacted the several people from the bank and no one is returning our calls. You have all our money that we can not access.
-
Steph Murray (@DerekDonkey1977) reported@LloydsBank No, but I can detail that the staff in the Maidenhead branch are inept at managing a queue 2 people sat at the desk doing nothing with a large queue forming Then the one cashier had a technical issue and nobody immediately came to assist Terrible customer service
-
Kiborocket (@kiborocket) reported@LloydsBank are you having trouble with app as I've been try to log in for two days just keeos saying we are having technical difficulties
