@LloydsBank It takes me to bank app to confirm payment, once confirmed it takes me back to website it asks me to log in which I do but then its the homepage again

1. Spoke to a customer from @LloydsBank who spent over an hour on the phone with #fraud team checking credit and debit card. What banks don't tell you is that if an online website doesn't have a means of performing a check with the bank the payment is already declined.

3. We recommended that not to do all your banking with @LloydsBank only. Look for other account options and credit cards options. This customer was unable to use his credit card despite it not being blocked and Lloyds said they couldn't do anything.

@LloydsBank is there a problem with your mobile app? I keep getting logged off mid transaction and alert showing can’t show account details. This has happened on multiple occasions v poor service!

@LloydsBank Hi thanks. Yep it's the same email address. I do a forgotten password attempt but nothing arrives. I don't remember signing up to the club lloyds website, is it the same login details as the lloyds online banking? If so, then that is definitely not working.

@LloydsBank My account was suspended on Thursday with no warning. Called and asked to go into branch. Went to branch they said to call. Called again they said they can’t help I can try branch again. All the meanwhile I have bills and rent to pay. Shocked at this poor service!

My son is still waiting for Nationwide to do the right thing. He was drugged and then victim to an elaborate scam which resulted in both his bank accounts being cleared out. @LloydsBank have been brilliant. @AskNationwide have been horrendous. @guardianmoney can you help?

2. In the case of a credit card, no big deal. But in the case of a debit card, in this example @LloydsBank will always block the card. You would think that a bank that writes secure banking apps could empower customers to remove the lock using the app
