@LloydsBank That’s the main point, not one of your team could help and I wasted an hour on hold and spoke to people (who’s job title is customer service) who could not help

@ledow2 @ThatTimWalker @LloydsBank My call was fairly similar although about something to do with a security/address change issue. They did give me a direct line number but I couldn't verify that as a number for Lloyd's.

@ThatTimWalker @LloydsBank I'm getting at least one call a day; my father (nearly 80) getting 3 or 4. The telephone preference service doesn't work. I have no idea how to stop them.

@ThatTimWalker @CarbonisedPleb @LloydsBank The thing is you DO quite rightly get texts very similar to that one. I got one when I logged in to my bank account from a new device, and another when I added a new payee. The difference is that there isn't link. It tells you to go away and call them via the app if a problem.

@LloydsBank my son has been trying to resolve a problem with his current account. Gave up on hold after 30 mins on phone. Then asked for help via app. Reply received (after 3 hours), saying can't help !!

@LloydsBank need some help! I’ve been waiting for a really long time to get an PayPal echeque refund to clear. In that time, I had to cancel my card due to losing my purse. It’s now been refunded but apparently to my old card. Please help!

@LloydsBank I have just made a foreign transfer , got charged for the transaction- fair enough, royally screwed on the exchange rate - don't understand why - and treated to the most petulant patronising and aggressively rude service - what happened to good manners?

@ThatTimWalker @LloydsBank Always best to check your account balances if you have a banking app on your phone, to check the veracity of such messages, or to ring your bank directly on their customer help line for assistance. Never reply or access links sent in a message. Most are fake!
