@tstarkey1212 @MicrosoftTeams As someone who's received IT support via MST chat, I say it's gold. Immediate to and fro, and clarification of misunderstandings (on their part), the problem gets fixed light years ahead of tickets and email.

@zarchasmpgmr @MicrosoftTeams It's called 'Speaker Coach' and it can be incredibly handy - it calls out things like pace, filler words, inclusiveness (it gets shirty at me if I slip and use "you guys" etc.) It's really useful...except for it telling me to slow down. I can't slow down. My brain won't let me.

I'm not mad at my clients, this shouldn't be your problem to solve. But know that when you send a @MicrosoftTeams meeting request to a freelancer who doesn't yet have access to your Teams channels, it's a real pain in the neck. (Unless there is some secret way to make it not so?)

@tstarkey1212 @MicrosoftTeams I used google meet as an it support channel with f2f pupils. Worked well and I worked through issues in order they reported them. Often they had figured it out themselves by time I got there

@audrawilliams @MicrosoftTeams I don't have much to add, but I detest this software. It's easily the worst collaboration tool I've used. I've also run into similar issues as you, where members outside an organization are like third class citizens on Teams!

@MSEducationUK @MicrosoftTeams @Turnitin I really don't care what anyone else thinks but prior access is a licence to cheat... opportunity to correct a deliberate attempt to plagiarise or to correct slack and shoddy work. Either way, there's no excuse. Microsoft is part of the problem, not the solution.

Do you run @MicrosoftTeams on @Ubuntu and have issues when trying to screen-share to the point you have to kill it? Disable the evil red box with: sudo mv /usr/share/teams/resources/app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/slimcore/bin/rect-overlay /root/rect-overlay.ORIG #infosec #Teams

Anybody else having trouble with @MicrosoftTeams on @firefox today? Just came off an important meeting after experiencing unusual tech issues - normally opens @Office365 no bother but wouldn't today. Opened Teams via email. Followed prompts for updates etc, restarted, no video.

MS @Outlook just told me it doesn’t trust the @MicrosoftTeams add-in and disabled it upon start up. I just feel like that’s a personal issue that #Microsoft should be sorting out amongst itself. I don’t need to be brought into that drama.

@MicrosoftTeams in Chile, MS Teams has a one hour offset due to a recent time change. The instructions to solve this problem in windows, that you sent by email last week, do not work in MacOS.
