Murray Webber (@MyNameIsMurray) reported
@RyanMRuark @MicrosoftTeams It's just a shame that "Microsoft Classroom", the spiritual successor to Microsoft Class Server we used to use, was pulled at the last minute and replaced with Microsoft Teams for EDU. It's... nothing like what we actually need, and basic features are just missing of half-arsed.
-
Murray Webber (@MyNameIsMurray) reported
@RyanMRuark @MicrosoftTeams And the current "solution" to the "I've run out of private channels" issue is either wait 30 days (yikes), or restore an old channel, rename it, delete all previous posts/files, then use that as your "new" channel (double yikes). Really amateur looking feature right now.
-
Ioan Popovici @ MEM.Zone (@IoanPopovici) reported
@MyNameIsMurray @MicrosoftTeams Don’t get me wrong teams does do a few things right when it comes to coms but the rest is a ***********. The problem is that it’s an app that tries to do everything. I like to believe there is a good coms app out there but so far teams, meet and slack just don’t cut it…

DisciplinedTrader (@Discipln_trader) reported
@AskMarcio @uCloudify @MicrosoftTeams Switch to Windows OS bam problem solved
-
Murray Webber (@MyNameIsMurray) reported
@RyanMRuark @MicrosoftTeams If you go "oops" and make a standard channel instead of a private one, you can't switch it. If you then delete it and try to create it as Private, you get an error that the channel already exists. You need to restore the old one, rename it, re-delete it, then make the new one.

@sophiedickens48 @MicrosoftTeams @MSEducationUK Unfortunately, we had a short glitch that has been fixed. Does it work for you now?
-
Zeeshan Abbasi (@abbasi_z) reported
@MicrosoftTeams keeps promoting me for login again and again. It has become unusable in Android.
-
Franz M. (@franz__m) reported
@jthake @MicrosoftTeams Desktop - probably out of habit and we have templates which do not flow well online. And then I wonder about the cryptic error, when someone shared something with "block download" 🙈
-
Graham Gold #AzureCertified (@cirriustech) reported
@jwint80 @MicrosoftTeams I’ve seen the occasional oddity in the desktop client where I get a notification of a like etc but the actual message doesn’t show it for quite some time after. May be a different symptom of the same issue I guess
-
Chris Gillum (@cgillum) reported
@jthake @MicrosoftTeams I don't like opening documents in Teams because it takes me away from whatever context I was in (much like a modal dialog box). On top of this, rendering the document can be very slow, which means it takes a lot longer to switch between back to the chat.
-
Brad Jodoin (@bradjodoin) reported
I opened my @MicrosoftTeams app on my phone and the chat icon was highlighted with a red number 3, indicating I had 3 unread messages. I scrolled down and found that all 3 were notifications that I HAD JOINED MEETINGS earlier in the week. Not just useless, harmful.

Renaud Jolivet (@RenaudJolivet) reported
@MicrosoftTeams is just a terrible product as soon as you have multiple accounts...
-
Andrew Lencsak (@D365Unplugged) reported
@ecgrim @NolanHaims @MicrosoftTeams To me this is not a Teams problem. It's only an issue if switching between different apps. If I switch my Teams audio settings, Zoom would be wrong and vice versa. I've been able to resolve this through the master audio settings on my laptop, so both now pick up the correct mic.
-
Vincent Thompson (@vinny8989) reported
@NolanHaims @MicrosoftTeams Hmm, strange. I haven't had any issues with Teams, even outside of our organisation. Are you using the desktop app or browser version?
-
Mark Heaps (@lifebypixels) reported
@HeatherAckmann @NolanHaims @MicrosoftTeams Same, I use Google Meet all day long and then occasionally switch to Zoom and it immediately dumps last settings for the camera. This seems to be an issue with multi-client systems on one machine. Each calling on the hardware driver for their software.

Joost Voskuil (@joost_voskuil) reported
@DonovanBrown @MicrosoftTeams @DonovanBrown great! But what we need is an optimized UI. Teams is slow.. terrible slow
-
felickz↙️ (@felickz) reported
Seriously @MicrosoftTeams the left and right arrow keys have been broken on and off for weeks. Slowly going insane
-
Dan LaBar (@embiggenData) reported
Nice. Now I’ve got FOUR versions of most my files, but still can’t get to the important client files I need due to licensing issues and guest accounts in @MicrosoftTeams. Thanks @onedrive! Stay terrible @Microsoft!!

BrennanBants (@BrennanBants) reported
@MicrosoftTeams What, head first down the biggest hill?
-
Kiran J. Holla (@kiranjholla) reported
Is it just me or has the UX of search in @MicrosoftTeams changed recently? There is no way for me to jump to a specific message in its original context? The only thing to do: note down the date & time of the message and scroll back to it manually.
-
Dan J (@dvisionj) reported
@StevenC365 @MicrosoftTeams It’s impressive stuff, agree. We’re seeing a few issues when a Surface Hub is part of the meeting though, when two people start to talk ( 1 remote and 1 in room) it cuts them both out for everyone and makes it hard to hear either. Wonder if the Hubs have been optimised yet :-/

dvr (@flowinthezone) reported
@jeffhollan @MicrosoftTeams I have often hit pin in error
-
Jen Kuntz (she/her) (@jenkuntzGP) reported
@NolanHaims @MicrosoftTeams I have a problem with starting the meeting. *I* set up the meeting but it tells me I am in the lobby until the organizer arrives. I’m the only user in my tenant. 🙄

Vyenkatesh Khataokar (@Vyenky_Khatao) reported
@MicrosoftTeams Any service issues? Multiple users seeing status as unknown and doesn’t change even after restart. yesterday’s read messages are unread again.

Fraize ✌️🤟🖖 (@Fraize) reported
Jeez @Microsoft your @MicrosoftTeams app is so bloated, slow, and obtrusive. So frustrating.
-
Marcio Moerbeck (@AskMarcio) reported
Does anyone dislike @MicrosoftTeams for MACOS as much as I do? What a terribly unstable piece of software. Just a terrible time dump. I thought we were done with MACOS software from Microsoft being much worse than their Windows versions. I guess not... #Marketing #MicrosoftTeams

Nolan Haims (@NolanHaims) reported
@HeatherAckmann @MicrosoftTeams I have a Sony Mirorrless with Camlink. *Usually no problems with Teams. If only there was some sense of consistency in the problems.
-
gito (@IMGito) reported
@MicrosoftTeams How can I delete the form from the Teams chat group. I have deleted it from the Forms folder and also from the recycle bin but people can still see and vote (though once they vote an error message comes to the teams chat group).
-
Heather Ackmann (@HeatherAckmann) reported
@NolanHaims @MicrosoftTeams I have the same issues when switching back and forth from Zoom and Teams. I have to log onto a fake/empty Teams meeting to troubleshoot and reconnect equipment before a client call to avoid issues. Question: do you also use a Canon mirrorless camera for meetings? Or OBS?

Anyone else having issues with @MicrosoftTeams disconnecting immediately on Mac OS X and not properly connecting on the web?
