@AskNationwide And as you surmise the form no longer automatically appears on login. Hence I am stuck with no apparent way out.

@AskNationwide That's the number I had an hour-long call to today. Bloke I spoke to was unable to view or edit answers to questions about my income, my use of my Nationwide accounts, or how money is transferred into my accounts, even though they are part of the form that appeared on login.

I hate KYC checks. Bad law made worse by corporate ineptitude. @AskNationwide say I'll be locked out of my account in September unless I provide more personal info, but neither I nor their support team can find out how to access the form to do so after "Skip"ing it earlier today.

@Godfrey_Bloom @AskNationwide Yup, have had my own issues with Nationwide, let my Dad empty my account when I was a child. £300 gone! Am still angry about it decades later. They stopped me making a purchase last week, froze my account/card. Worst experience, Abbey National, who lost me £3000!

@Godfrey_Bloom @AskNationwide May I recommend Bitcoin for your next bank. 24hour service. Transfers take around 30mins and cost a few cents, and best of all you don't have to deal with a phalanx of 20 year old TikTokers to stop you doing what you want with your money. It does also outperform gold.

@iain_cooke @Godfrey_Bloom @AskNationwide I'm picking up Northern Rock vibes here. Puppeteers using puppet 'influencers' to manipulate the public into bringing about a desired scenario - in this case, slimming down market 'choice'. We are obviously being funneled towards a one bank digital monetary system.

@AnnieBruton @AskNationwide I have a customer number and use a card reader for internet banking and occasionally get asked for further verification ie. text message a code, but that is it for Nationwide? Gave up on the app once I’d restored internet connection after moving; kept cancelling so needed then.

@Godfrey_Bloom @AskNationwide I've been with Nationwide for 40yrs and no problems even when I sold my house and took alot of money out in one go no problem. Lloyds is the worst Ever bank. So Victor Meldrew I believe because the customers have a say in how they do things you want them gone. I'm not changing

@Godfrey_Bloom @AskNationwide High St banks are dinosaurs, I’ve had similar problems moving my own money over to exchanges to buy Bitcoin. Move to the much more modern banks, much easier to deal with online banks, either Revolut or Monzo. Easy access, no mither. They’re regulated UK Banks for the modern world
