Goes into your Goole branch - they can't help him and give him a number (seemingly a Head Office). Requires account details. Nice. How does he do that? Refer to the above.

Clearly they have exhausted face to face possibilities. What happened to decent customer service and a bit of empathy?

Richard D G Cox (rcox.bsky.social) (@RDG_C) reported@deandunham @Chrisitv If that happens, either call someone else first or use a different phone. Key 159: it’s a safe number to reach your bank. When asked, speak the name of your bank to get connected. Most banks handle this well but @AskNationwide does seem to be having issues with it at the moment.

Nationwide customer service was good years ago. Do I want to open an account with a bank that is so difficult to contact? You guess.....

John Rogers (@TerminallyChimp) reported@AskNationwide I can’t amend any standing orders, hasn’t been working for days. Just errors, “something has gone wrong”. I can amend, change or add any standing orders. Pretty basic stuff, frustrating.
