Phil (@trollied) reported@Claire__McClean @AskNationwide You have a physical card with the number on. Apple Pay uses a completely different number that nobody has access to. You need to talk to the vendor that you did the transaction with & they will know how to refund you.

I just find it really odd that in the 21st century we still have to go into a branch (which is closed today btw) usually at times we're working so inconvenient, and present the same ID we would present online? Either be fully online or don't say you are.

After spending hours arranging a contract with a Nationwide customer whom I met at his home had lenghty discussions and agreed a contract he signed and asked to proceed. NATIONWIDE text him, called him witheld Payment! Said it was a SCAM!
