Hi @AskNationwide - I'm in the US and despite changing my timezone settings on my phone I'm unable to access the banking app, internet banking isn't recognising my details & I don't have a card reader with me. How can I transfer money to another account?

  • bradburymark Mark Bradbury (@bradburymark) reported

@HenryPryor @AskNationwide OK this is higher than expected but increases were inevitable. As recently as March 2022 Nationwide would fix for 5 years at 1.59 and in some cases as low as 1.34%.

@AskNationwide Here for you? I don’t think so! Using a technicality to wriggle out of honouring a fixed rate mortgage product. Zero transparency; zero customer service; zero ethics. Shame on you. Borrowers beware!

@AskNationwide Did you read my tweet, I can’t you use the self service option..

@AskNationwide hello, need to arrange a call with a mortgage advisor about a complicated issue of porting two mortgages and trying to apply for a new one for a house move. It’s too complex to do online and need some assistance please. Can I arrange a call with a mortgage adviso

@HenryPryor @AskNationwide There is no way around this. House prices are unsustainable when rates are higher. Gov should support people on negative equity but must allow prices to drop on avg wage levels.

@AskNationwide Just spoke. To virgin and they can’t help me I need a payment recall from nationwide ?

  • WillP782 Will (@WillP782) reported

@AskNationwide 2/2 I see you have now put your rates up again but I still can't get anywhere to actually renew it. I am missing out on a deal due what appears to be an IT issue and lack of staff to support customers during an already difficult time.

  • btisdall btisdall (@btisdall) reported

Hey @AskNationwide the OLB Confirmation of Payee account format is not adequately explained and the help link goes to an unrelated page. Eventually I guessed sort code plus acc no separated by a space, my parents would have been stuck otherwise.

  • cazmeatsix caroline widdop (@cazmeatsix) reported

@AskNationwide hi please can you help, I have sent a payment from my current account to my credit card which was not meant for that account so I need to cancel it?
