@AskNationwide Good afternoon. Just tried to transfer money into my NW flexaccount and hit the latest problem, but nothing on twitter about the issue or timescale for fixing?

  • Traceyc851 Traceyc85 (@Traceyc851) reported

@AskNationwide does the current issues around payments affect card payments as well? I don't want to go to the shop if my card will be declined as well.

  • AaronL1204 AaronL1204 (@AaronL1204) reported

@AskNationwide this is completely unacceptable and you will lose a lot of customers over this. 4 days before Christmas and no access to my money. Can't fuel my car or buy food.

  • MrJamesMason James Mason (@MrJamesMason) reported

@AskNationwide Thanks but when checking the Nationwide website and the app at 0730 this morning the message was no issues and it as all green. (Since changed) Payment from the external bank immediately was returned with warning the recipient could not receive the payment and to try again later.

@YourMSTechDroid @AskNationwide You probably can but I wouldn’t risk it as I attempted to and it didn’t go through but still took the money from my account. I’m now £450 down and have to wait 7 days to get my money back.

  • CocoKiia Kiia_coco (@CocoKiia) reported

@AskNationwide @nikki79692361 So this issue might not be fixed until after Xmas? Is that what you’re telling us?

  • Berty_boi_new Berty 💙 we are not what u think we are... (@Berty_boi_new) reported

@AskNationwide hi guys, hope you are well. It says an incoming payment is in a queue. Are there problems at the moment?

  • firoze_duz_it FIROZE (@firoze_duz_it) reported

Can anyone please recommend a bank because @AskNationwide always has me out here looking like I haven't got money when trying to pay people. Always a planned maintenance or nothing is working. Someone has been waiting since 9am. #nationwide #

@AskNationwide I understand the issue, however nothing has been communicated to us via email or text. It wasn’t until I was paying for something after I had transferred money and it got declined, I checked my account. The lack of communication is very poor.

  • mandoo66 Mandy Collymore (@mandoo66) reported

@AskNationwide But if I have no money in my account (as a result of the banking error) will the direct debits go through? I am concerned about them bouncing and affecting my credit.
