    @AskNationwide unsuccessfully trying to open a bank account for my SIL who is not a UK resident. She has a UK provisional license and been added onto the water bill. How can she be main account holder when she doesn't have account to pay the bill from? Do you see the problem?

    @AskNationwide Thanks. I have absolutely no problem with verify the payment occasionally but it's the card reader that is so inconvenient and antiquated. Sainsburys send me a text and I verify in seconds

    @AskNationwide Spent 30 mins on the phone on hold on Friday to cancel my current account switch but yesterday I received an e-mail saying it's going ahead tomorrow. Currently waiting on someone on Live Chat. Really unimpressed with your customer service!
