@britain_bob @gregmarsh @SkyNews well, there's the Bank of England, which is the central bank for the whole of the UK And the govt has the government banking service, which operates 3 banks (the day to running is subcontracted to Barclays, Natwest and Citi). What would another govt bank do differently?

@BernieSpofforth OK I'll spend it on drugs and hookers instead. Natwest don't have a problem with that. Only crypto

@BBCBreaking "customers increasingly bank online" My pensioner mother calls NatWest to discuss a transaction on her account. She was told she had to install the banking help to view it and then raise an issue with it via the app. "customers increasingly forced to bank online"

Head up for U.K. residents with bank accounts at #natwest The bank outright refuse to let you deposit at #binance No matter what I say I am not allowed to move my funds where I choose. Absolute disgrace. Bizarrely had no issue with me previously depositing at #FTX

Having **** day. So PayPal have duplicated a payment leaving me with minus £12.96 in my NatWest account. So waiting for that to clear. In meantime I go to put £20 in Barclays so I can pay a bill, Barclays is shut now. But the card machine has eaten my card. Can I go back to bed?

I'm going to close all my accounts with natwest, I just cannot get any useful help with their digital assistant and each time I try to talk to an agent there are dozens of people in a queue in front of me. They've given up on personal customers. @NatWest_Help
