@toryboypierce These greedy imbeciles like HSBC, NatWest Barclays, Lloyds, TSB etc... do not care for local banking. It won't be long before the excellent Nationwide and other building societies hoover up the majority of retail banking customers because they actually give a ****!

@LUSCgriffinLUFC @LUSCarborough Awful news. I am pretty sure this is the same SS I worked with at 16 yo in my first job at the NatWest bank. A lovely guy 🙏🏻

@richardm56 hi Richard, is there any way you can look into NatWest closing down random bank accounts? No warning, doesn’t matter how much money you have or your social standing, there’s a facebook group “NatWest closed my account” can you take a look please?

  • mistert1966 Mark Threlfall (@mistert1966) reported

@LUFCHistory @LUSCgriffinLUFC Oh no. Known him from his days working at NatWest in Otley many years ago and subsequently following the whites. That’s really sad news. RIP Simon. #lufc

@EpsonUK Despite escalating to the readyprint department I am still having to wait until the direct debit is set up and paid before I get my printer enabled. Two days of no printer because of a known issue between Epson and natwest, which I have no control over...

@tom_doggett However, it's set up to automatically pay the right amount on the right datenin case I miss doing it early myself (which I prefer to do when I can). The customer service folk are very kind & patient if I need to ring up 😱 to find out anything. Not all love Natwest, but I do.

Thank you NatWest mortgage advert for earworming me with that bloody awful Mariah Carey screech fest!

  • iang_fc iang (@iang_fc) reported

@dgwbirch It has to be NatWest. They are the only party in control of the security model, the only one that can do something about it. When phishing turns up, only NatWest can change the model to mitigate phishing. (That is, if we want to address the problem. Maybe we don’t…)

@LBC the Natwest group are vile, they have closed 1000s of customers accounts down with no warning nor reason. This is to fill the quota of closing accounts used for money laudering, this happened to myself a number of weeks ago...I'm a student with one income.

@BernieSpofforth @funmartman My NatWest app is constantly pushing me to set up biometric access now too …🤔
