TheTinMen (@TheTinMenBlog) reported@jimthegiant @ZackPolanski The best and easiest way to help your local communities/society is to not hold your money with the big large banks, and move it into ethical banks, and local coops like Nationwide or the Coop. Don’t get me wrong, they are nowhere near as swanky as NatWest or Barkleys, and you’ll have to wait FOR AGES to get through on the phone, but they invest your money more ethically, and not in fossil fuels, or arms. Moving your money to an ethical bank is not as cool as running a marathon, or as virtuous as sharing some online campaign, but it’s way more impactful IMO. All my current accounts, business and savings accounts are with @CooperativeBank, but there are other good ones too. Consider doing it.

Aparajithan N (@aparajithan) reported@kartik_kannan Impossible, not even news… but thats also the reason I sat through the entire Natwest final in 02 because I was leaving for the US right after that & was afraid that i may not get to see another game for a few years… though that didn’t happen… but glad i sat through that game.

I was promised my case would be referred to a specialist team within 24-48 hours, and now been told they aren't going to help me because they are still within 8 weeks of the complaint (made 7.5 weeks ago)

An hour on the phone and even the customer care guy, doing his best and really good guy, couldn’t tell me what was up

This is so frustrating when I was advised on 15 Dec it would be fixed within 2-3 working days! So much for banking being via self service. Very poor customer experience
