NatWest Issues Reports

@GoodwinMJ Matt the closure of bank branches in Denton, Manchester—similar to trends across Tameside and the UK—is primarily driven by a significant, long-term shift toward digital and mobile banking, which has led to a dramatic reduction in branch footfall. Major banks, including NatWest and Lloyds, have closed branches in the area, stating that they must adapt to changing customer habits, as many users now prefer to bank online. It’s down to the public being pushed to use online banking. Not @Keir_Starmer

Today, @CamdenCouncil, your scheme failed a frail, elderly woman in a significant way. She flagged me down at the intersection of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, urgently needing help to pick up her elderly friend at the NatWest bank on Tottenham Court Road. What should have been a quick one-minute journey along a major thoroughfare turned into a frustrating 16-minute detour. The reality is that Tottenham Court Road does not prioritise “inclusion.” It is absurd that an accessible means of transport is prohibited from driving along one of London’s main roads. @TfL @LondonAssembly

@NatWest_Help for 18 months we had a QR code for payments attached to our NatWest Business Account + on lots of our printed media. We are a volunteer run Town Carnival. This week QR code became invalid. Cue runaround from Cora + PayIT not wanting to help pushing to other!

This #NatWest "family backed mortgage" doesn't do anything to help underprivileged people at all, just gives people with potentially hefty inheritances another option to buy a house they are probably likely to get anyway...let's not pretend this is great for the average Joe.

@JibbaJabb They keep building and they never get more affordable. The very fact banks like NatWest and Barclays are advertising mortgages where you can get a friend of family to help you pay it says one thing… houses are too ****** expensive. They need to come down

@SayNo2SizewellC What do you believe you know that the planning authorities, Natwest and Bpifrance Assurance Export (the insurers/underwriters) do not? And secondly, do you not see the irony of opposing a clean energy project, the success of which help prevent sea level rise?

@drghadasasa I worked for NatWest back in the early 00s and Palestine wasn't an option then. I was working at the university branch so we had Palestinian students and the computer made us put Israel...
