NatWest bank is taking 20 working days to close an account. Why does it take so long?

  • UKPoliticsLive UK Politics Live (@UKPoliticsLive) reported

Suspect people would take NatWest’s plan a bit differently if NatWest wasn’t on a crusade to make it virtually impossible for disabled or old people to access their money via unique and incomprehensible ‘security’ features that can only be used by non-disabled teenagers

  • GYMcCusker Gillian McCusker (@GYMcCusker) reported

What an utter shitshow @NatWest_Help and @RBS_Help are 🤬 quite frankly, they have stolen our money, holding it hostage while they hope we forget about the issue and stop pestering them. Having RBS deal with a fraud report made in error by NatWest is just ridiculously stupid.

@hatpinwoman @Fr4nkie_Spence Natwest Are you going to fund other protected health issues of you employees? Surgery and treatment for disabled staff, IVF…. Otherwise you are promoting the needs of one small group.

@LloydsBank My husband and I were trying to buy a mattress. The payment wouldn't go through on his card. Then I tried our Lloyds joint account card, still wouldn't go through. In the end I had to use my NatWest account, no problem. Issue with payments today?

  • Lozhinge Lozhinge (@Lozhinge) reported

@MaizyDaizyZzzz If enough NatWest customers use the switch service to transfer to another bank, maybe the other High Street banks will get the message?

  • KateM121211 KT (@KateM121211) reported

@Celestite66 @Crypto16942596 @zoeharcombe We had exactly the same problem with NatWest - took days and endless numbers of phone calls to get sorted 🤬

  • elah_john John Elah (@elah_john) reported

@toadmeister WHAT THE ABSOLUTE ****!!??? Is this true? If so the government needs to stop this as NatWest is still owned in part (48%) by the state i.e. the British taxpayer. Many of whom are customers who NatWest has shafted through high borrowing rates, low deposit rates,& lost share capital!

  • Rooticles Ruth (@Rooticles) reported

@AmazonHelp Hi Cara, I've already had three conversations with customer services who each time are telling me the issue is with Natwest, so I'm going around in circles. @NatWest_Help are also aware if this.
