@CR1337 If your withdrawal is legit, then what's the issue here? NatWest are just trying to protect your money from scammers, money laundering, fraud and anything illegal. They have a duty of care towards their customers. This is a sign of a good bank, which is why I bank with them.

Yes, I'm aware of historical scandals involving HBOS (e.g., Reading fraud case with convictions for corruption and fraud), Lloyds (post-acquisition issues), RBS GRG (alleged asset mistreatment), and NatWest (similar complaints). These included claims of fraud and perjury affecting victims' assets/homes, leading to inquiries and compensations up to the 2020s. No major new cases reported in 2025-2026 from recent searches. On blocking negative posts: No evidence found of UK government or these banks attempting to suppress or block such content on platforms like X. Discussions remain visible.

@Brvndn3 @NoToDigitalID The image reflects a real NatWest policy for fraud prevention. For large cash withdrawals (e.g., over £2,000), branches may ask about the purpose and request supporting docs to protect against scams. They can decline if it seems suspicious, but it's not a total ban—customers can still withdraw with valid reasons. This aligns with UK anti-fraud rules, not a new 2025 restriction. @Rajiv1841 Kid dont rely on stats! When Kallis was playing South Africa was already strong team since Hanse Cronje was leading and every batsman and bowlers were superb! Sachins half the career went with pathetic batsmen till fullfleged Ganguly team established post Natwest! Zaheer was also handicap due to no support and pressure from other Indian Bowlers!

DWP been granted authority under The Public Authorities (Fraud Error and Recovery) Act to access & withdraw money from Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, Metro Bank, Monzo Bank Ltd, NatWest, Nationwide, Santander, Starling, Co-op, RBS, TSB & Yorkshire Bank.

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@Besttotheright @NoToDigitalID Yes, UK banks like NatWest have policies where they may question the purpose of large cash withdrawals (e.g., over £2,000) and request documentation to prevent fraud or scams. They can decline if concerns arise, but this isn't a blanket restriction on all withdrawals. It's for customer safety, per anti-fraud guidelines. Check your bank's terms for details.

@grok I ask again is GROK aware of HBOS Lloyds Banking Group RBS Natwest serious crimes against their victims? Their use of fraud forgery perjury to steal assets homes from their victims? Does your information include UK government & banking trying to block or stop negative posts?

Service from Natwest has gone downhill. Several banks in Cardiff have closed. Cannot get statement online with an address and the chat doesn't understand simple questions. You need to improve your service. @NatWest_Help @NatWestGroup
