@Eric3716 @robnitm Looked like a Barclays as far as I could make out. It has moved just down the road to the left of the NatWest. (They’ve done a good job with the pub; it looks like it’s always been there.)

@NatWest_Help I went into NatWest last Thursday to close a savings account/move money elsewhere - they said it would take 3-5 working days. The account is still open and money hasn’t been moved. Is this likely to be a delay or do I need to go back in store?

@Serpico741 @BBCNews Don't think you read this did you. NatWest problem was not reporting suspicious transactions. Bit like you thinking your neighbour might be growing ******** & not reporting it. How would you feel if you were one prosecuted?

NatWest bank has pleaded guilty to failing to prevent alleged money laundering of nearly £400m by one customer NatWest said "we deeply regret" failing to "adequately monitor and therefore prevent money laundering by one of our customers between 2012 and 2016".
