The new Natwest cards are ****, aren't they? The contactless works about 1/5 of the time and when you go to pay for things online, sometimes it's counted as a 'Mastercard', sometimes a 'Visa Debit' or sometimes a 'Mastercard Debit' depending on the site! ******* awful

  • drasticsturgeon Clare Nightingale 🧜‍♀️ (@drasticsturgeon) reported

@MandSBank Why aren't the online banking or app services recognising NatWest Debit cards then? That's two of your options not working, I want to pay more than the Direct Debit amount. That leaves bank transfer, but how can I trust that when the main methods aren't working?

@Steve92592444 NatWest now RBS had a very large computer centre there 😬 no doubt being down graded

I have spoken to over 10 of your victim support workers who just keep saying the same crap! I also asked for a phone number but apparently you don’t take customer calls at the minute. Also there is an issue with NatWest banks not allowing you to send money to us ..

@nataliesawyer In all honesty Natalie, I totally agree you go into a branch you get told to use the machine, Natwest, Halifax & Lloyds the service is awful , In 2011 I changed to the Nationwide they are brilliant.

  • SionyRich SR (@SionyRich) reported

@CheekyCrypto I thought all the UK banks had done this ages ago with credit cards. I can't buy anything on Binance from Natwest, credit or debit. Its pretty much useless. Can buy with debit on coinbase no problem but not CC.

@HSBC_UK How an earth can I pay my NatWest credit card. I just keep getting a 503 error. Tried everything

  • Me1Budget Hannah| Money Blogger (@Me1Budget) reported

@NatWest_Help is there a problem with your app? I am unable to see my credit card information within the app! Anyone else getting this issue? #natwest

@RugbyPhilBB "Net bank debt fell from £22.9m to £13.9m, net debt has been lowered from £114.4m to £110.8m" ...so this was last year. Does the bank covenant require WRU to pay down bank debt monthly? I'm not clear how forfeiting the game means NatWest invervention?

All in all, the risk in banking with Monzo is no different than banking with NatWest et al. The inherent risk is not being able to access your money if something goes wrong with the bank’s infrastructure. Remember: these financial institutions aren’t decentralised.
