@TheSecretAcct @wheeliedealer You mention the FSCS compensation limit as if it’s an issue with £800k. It’s not. The £85,000 compensation limit is per person PER bank / building society. So if your friend is really worried NatWest or Barclays are going under … then just put 80k into 10 different accounts.

@CarolineCoramUK Hmmm I wonder 💭 🤔 … I think there was a temporary outage yesterday too as it wasn’t loading. NatWest app also down last night. Hmmmmm

@Charan199604 @rj_386 @imVkohli I did that often. Most notably was in June 2002 in the Natwest series final vs Eng, when India was chasing 325 to win but India was reeling at 146/5 with Tendulkar out batting at No.4 The next day I was shocked to see that Kaif and Yuvraj won the show by chasing the total down!

@ShappiKhorsandi @HSBC_UK Tbf to HSBC other clearers have similar approach. NatWest is currently taking seven weeks to change an address. Their stated timeframe to action change, not mine. Unfortunately so much scamming going on they have to validate every customer request.

@GreenFlagUK Thanks for the quick reply. So if they took it out today with NatWest, and happened to need assistance while away in UK next week they could use the service?

Sat in NatWest waiting to cash a cheque. There seems to be lots of staff milling around with iPads asking your name and asking to state your business. Then you’re asked to take a seat. I get it’s customer service but it all seems very fussy.

of a cheque & deposit it using the app like other banking customers can e.g. NatWest? The tech is clearly available, if you're going to allow branches to offer such limited opening times you need to give customers an alternative to give them the same service levels as others!

@HarryWy37501671 @LWB_33 I’m checking in five minutes cuz the NatWest app is down until 2:30

@AskNationwide I don't know who needs to tell you this, but 99.9% of people are F*CKING S*CK of woke idealogy being shoved down their throats by the Corporate-State-in-waiting... Just DO BANKING ffs! Maybe bring out a gimmick like Natwest did with the piggy-bank family in the 80s or something.
