Effective from today (31st January), NatWest has announced it will make further rate reductions on new and existing customer products. New business purchases will see rates lowered by up to 15bps and selected 2 and 5 year deals lowered by 12bps. Remortgages will go down by 24bps.

@NatWest_Help Why is NatWest still terrible at customer service or even the basics still in 2023. Wife gets a message via her online banking that he account has been restricted. Contacts Nat West yet they can’t tell her why though can see it is and has been cut of X3 times 😡

Sat in @NatWest Yeovil being told I can have 12 months of my bank statements printed off for sustainability. It’s a few A4 sheets of paper for a customer of 25 years. Not impressed.

@firstdirecthelp are there any issues for you with faster payments today? I had a long established Standing Order leave my account just after midnight but its not appeared in my @NatWest_Help account yet and it's now made me overdrawn. Or is the problem with Natwest?

@BarclaysUK I’m a grateful customer at Barclays Notting Hill Gate (refugee from awful NatWest). Totally dependent on impeccable personal service of marvellous staff there. Anker this morning, the diligent ladies other occasions. I beg you: don’t even CONSIDER closing this branch.
