@Barclays is there any issue with your faster payment services ? I have done a transfer which hasn’t yet reached my NatWest UK account - it’s usually immediate or as good as. I did this payment earlier this morning. TIA

@NatWest_Help My local choir has received 2 lots of compensation from NatWest because of appalling service. Our new treasurer has endured a total of around 24hrs on the phone to them, inc one stint of 4hrs, just trying to change signatories etc.

@NatWest bank have given me the worst customer service I have experienced ever in any situation. Avoid if you can. Closing accounts asap. Rudeness, lack of knowledge of their products etc

@jeanrobinson946 @NatWest_Help Sounds like you should move banks. Stray by opening an account up elsewhere and just post into that, essentially running dual accounts. Once you have the NatWest one zeroed it can be closed down.

Wow, I'm lucky that I don't have debt on my credit card, because NatWest have just written that their interest rate will rise by almost 50% on existing and new credit card balances in September. How is this legal? Kicking people when they're down.

@NatWest_Help I have always been satisfied with the service which I have received from NatWest, however please advise as to why the bank freezes or closes the accounts of innocent people and leaves them destitute?

@derbyshire_live The issue does seem to have affected NatWest and RBS customers. The Council system through the payment provider needs to provide stronger customer authentication so it proves the person is who they say, something getting more common with online payments.
