NatWest beat expectations in the second quarter and announced a special dividend as it saw steady customer activity through mounting economic headwinds.  The U.K.’s biggest corporate lender posted an operating profit before tax of £1.4 billion.

6 WEEKS and many phone calls/emails from me for NatWest to transfer a donation to our Afghan charity. No reason given and not the first time we couldn't access our own funds. Scandalous! Are they afraid of the "A" word or what?

  • Abbie_Martin_ Abbie McCrickerd (@Abbie_Martin_) reported

@BarclaysUKHelp any idea as to why @Tesco had issues this morning with my card? It's not expired and had enough funds. Worked fine with a NatWest card.

  • TwoHammel Jonathon (@TwoHammel) reported

NatWest’s Sir Howard Davies: You don’t solve the issues they're trying to compare Blair and Johnson.

  • GUTS_fbc GUTSfbc (@GUTS_fbc) reported

@NatWest_Help when we go to log into our account, the first of the 2 part login now presents with the first number already filled in. Should this be happening? I have heard about a recent hacking attempt on a natwest business account so am suspicious!

@Funky_Cat11 @PeterSweden7 They have started doing this in the UK. @NatWest have this on their app. Its creepy and obviously voluntary atm but I'm thinking of pulling my account and banking elsewhere if this is the direction of travel. Any bank that doesnt offer this service..??

  • Sharron76975991 Sharron Smith (@Sharron76975991) reported

@NatWest_Help There won't be any support. I am amazed that such a big institution such as the natwest cannot offer any help to a struggling single parent.

@BBCWatchdog hi there I was wondering if someone can help me? I worked with a recruitment agency by the name of Ashton Carter with my agent been nico Gibson. Worked on a project for Natwest bank as an onboarding analyst for a few weeks. Have been asked to leave the project.

Dear @NatWest I've been a customer of yours for over 20 years. No more. I'm sick to death with you constantly forcing me to verify purchases with your app. I'm an adult and will spend my money as I please without big brother checking on me.

NATWEST Earnings - 1st half profit £1.892bn against £1.699 last year - Income £5.671bn - costs up by £178m to £3.03bn - Impairment costs seem very low £18m (maybe I am wrong) - Loans up by £7.7bn - CET ratio down from 16.1% to 11.6%. I think the market will be happy with progress
