  Today’s @ShabanaMahmood “Don’t Pay We Won’t Take You Away” Award winner is Iftehar Ahmed director of AK Touchstone Limited. The @ukhomeoffice slapped his Company with a £30,000 civil penalty for employing two people with no right to work in the UK. He said **** right off I’m not paying that, so didn’t and didn’t pay a £47,362.00 Bounce Back Loan either, and has just been given a 5 Year Director ban instead. So the Government never got the £30,000 and would have had to pay back NatWest the £47,362.00 for Bounce Back Loan too. Lovely….

  @bmob719 @BristolCity If you’re paying using NatWest or TSB card you will have issues - been trying to renew our seats since Friday! There is a known issue but they don’t appear to communicating this!!

  @MLorrM You should also look at the Natwest/ Ulster problem. It doesn't apply to Barclays, but may apply to those insurers. In the 90s and 00s, Natwest only ever broke even on UK business. Its entire bottom line came from Ulster Bank in the Republic, even though it was only small here.

  £200 Billion GBP just left my account to pay for everyone university debt from 1999 up until 2026 in both the UK and America. It’s fine, I’ve been making some wise investments lately and NatWest are paying me well, and I earnt quite a bit by selling Barclays back to the Baron’s. So I’m good for it, plus on top of the tour and then the vegas shows, I’ll be able to support both Elle, I and our daughter from my income. So, I’m good for it.   My reward for years of customer loyalty to NatWest bank? Their pockets stuffed with profit and the high street branches closed, including WGC. Customer service? Nah, just shareholder fixation…and a failure to support those who’ve supported their company.

  @stephenpollard Think you made a big error here. NatWest got bailed out in the financial crisis so think that is a counter to your argument without the state it wouldnt exist and shareholders would have got nothing. Also industries like rail and water just can’t be made competitive. I can’t get Scot’s rail when I want to get a train in london or use Thames water in Leeds cos I don’t want to use Yorkshire water. I am 100% capitalist and set up multiple companies from scratch and employed a bunch of people but it doesn’t work for everything. Also the best rail companies in the world are state owned and many state owned foreign companies bought up many of the companies thatcher sold off. So that makes no sense anyway
