    @ForIn2020 @dresserman @jpr007 I’m not sure about other banks but NatWest have told me they are changing my Service Card to Mastercard shortly & Santander have been doing the same too so maybe the there is a significant issue with Visa at the moment.

    @MartinSLewis @JamesFlanderss My son was rejected by NatWest. Said there was an issue with credit check. I contacted equifax and Experian as he was only 16. They said under 18s don’t have a credit history so I hit a dead end. Managed to open one with Santander

    @MartinSLewis Yep the service was easy. The resulting service from @firstdirect was bloody awful ! Lied to me frequently. Switched back to NatWest as soon as I could !

    @BeckettUnite The main problem not just for Natwest but for all banks is keeping up with the various methods used by groups to launder money, it does make it difficult sometimes to spot. And in some cases people are forced to be mules with threats of violence/death. Additionally 1/x

    @BBCNews I was until recently a NatWest employee working in a non frontline role, never dealing with customers or cash. Even for my role the anti money laundering training was exhaustive, completed twice a year, on report if you failed it. Laughable!

    NatWest “we deeply regret” that you laundered £250m through your bank from one customer. Pay a fine and move on. These bell ends need to be held more accountable! Prison time.

    @beckymil1 Think this was the place that was having Financial problems last year, All Write a review on trust pilot and report them to FCA. Don’t go near NatWest, hope you get sorted

    NatWest bank has pleaded guilty to failing to prevent alleged money laundering of nearly £400m by one customer NatWest said "we deeply regret" failing to "adequately monitor and therefore prevent money laundering by one of our customers between 2012 and 2016".

    @LinaSeiche This was already kinda known from earlier this year... Natwest started cracking down on Bitcoin/crypto.vMy dad's business bank is with Natwest, and they told us his account would be closed if businesses accept crypto, even if we didn't sell to fiat. Apparently the crackdown on
