  @ForIn2020 @dresserman @jpr007 I’m not sure about other banks but NatWest have told me they are changing my Service Card to Mastercard shortly & Santander have been doing the same too so maybe the there is a significant issue with Visa at the moment.

  When I pushed for answers your team implied I was part of a fraud pattern — despite your own agent’s written warehouse confirmation. PayPal and NatWest can’t help due to direct debit rules. Now pursuing Small Claims Court. All evidence documented.

  @jet2tweets are you aware of PSD2 SCA booking issues with NatWest credit cards. @NatWest_Help are saying you cannot transact with each other and my credit card gets declined. Very poor joint experience

  @natwest approval in app for payment is crap trying to approve when I go back to website after approving in app website re loads so have to try again done this 3 time why can't you just approve via a text message code like other banks.

  @robprogressive A couple of years ago I went to buy some BTC from Coinbase as I had done many times. Natwest declined my card several times so I called the bank and was told there was no problem and to wait and try again. This continued for 24hrs so I called them back and eventually they put me through to another office - after several conversations someone came on and send actually Natwest have blocked any purchases on crypto exchanges due to the risk of fraud - I went nuts, if this is bank policy then why did items so many calls to get this response - I can check a box confirming that I accept the fraud risk and send my life savings to a Nigerian Prince but cannot invest with a US stock listed company which I had done many times previously - the UK banking industry is absolutely terrified of BTC - they recently allowed some investment in BTC ETF's (not quite ETFs but similar) in reality it's virtually impossible to access these. If they do this with gold then that's another thing altogether - I live and work in Asia now and gold is a key pillar of investment as they never trust the government and banks as burnt so any times in the past

  @NatWest_Help i’ve now made three attempts to make a payment around £300. Each time I’m being asked to approve the transaction and when I go into my account there is nothing waiting to be approved. It really is a rubbish system with NatWest as I have no such issues with oth accts

  @CleansedTweets Yep had many do the same to me, I'm now left with NatWest, TSB and Metro (awful). Even the Internet banks like Wise, and Monzo and probably the best upon launch, Starling all folded, same reasons. NatWest has been most crypto friendly, bar selling crypto back to card, that requires TSB. I've even be banned for sending money to Wise, on suspicion of buying crypto with the money, £50 probably, while that was the intent, how would they have known?

  @Dodlink @sewateruk @ThreshedThought They promised to deliver water to those on the priority list last weekend but didn’t. Promised again today, but …. My neighbours are elderly & suffering from various cancers but still no help from SEW. Still as long as the NatWest, the FCDQ & UoA are getting their money….

  @KatieW456938 Thanks for raising these points. We’ve checked and the revised FAQs were not shared with the Unite NatWest reps in advance of publication but Unite will raise these issues on Monday. A Unite FAQ set was issued this afternoon.

  RBS - the bad news never stops for this entity. Whilst an old story coming to a conclusion it is reminds us for just what an awful business RBS became, surely it is time for NatWest to vaporise this brand and its culture (for the benefit of shareholders as well as just because)?
