@mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Years ago, banks prided themselves on great customer service, not any more. Now having customers at arms length is not enough and their focus is on their investors rather than the customer. I have been with NatWest since 1986 and have always felt valued.

Having asked 'Sam' at NatWest's call centre, why... 'it takes up to a month to receive a statement after settling a loan, after which it will be reflected on your credit report'... Sam couldn't help me. He'd hung up. So I ask @NatWest_Help @Nick__Howe the same question.

@natwest I am appalled at the Bereavement Services dept. I have been trying to resolve an issue since November, they have lost several forms, given contradictory advice, been very unhelpful and obstructive. I am at the end of my tether.

@dgwbirch Natwest can’t help that their logo is misused. Destination back has accepted a fraudster as a client and will hold the illegally earned funds, so they are in a position to do something. The ISP? Nope. You? Certainly, why would you click on links? 😌

@petefrasermusic @ellcol I spent Christmas in LA once and ended up having a lovely chat with a guy who was working NatWest’s fraud phone line at what was about 5am UK time, cheerily admitting to earning a fortune for that shift.

@dgwbirch You, because you know it's dodgy, or if you don't know it's dodgy NatWest because they are selling an unsafe service to an unsophisticated customer, or if not it's the Payee bank for dealing with a fraudster

@richardm56 hi Richard, is there any way you can look into NatWest closing down random bank accounts? No warning, doesn’t matter how much money you have or your social standing, there’s a facebook group “NatWest closed my account” can you take a look please?

@rhdixon1 @NatWest It's slower than a phone call as well, so I'm not sure why so many customer service centres have it available. I "chatted" to BT a couple of months ago. It took 40 minutes. I reckon the phone call would have been no more than 10 minutes.

@NatWest_Help Your website claims the Natwest Credit Card has no foreign transaction fees, but when I click on the summary box it says there's a 3% handling fee for cash withdrawals. Will I be charged for withdrawing money from the credit card in a foreign country or not? TIA.
