Natwest: To access your own account and money on your new phone, confirm your dead, inaccessible phone number from a million years ago in a verification text from us. Me: I can't. Let me change my number on the tablet device upon which I am already logged in, please?

@santanderukhelp @JimCrosthwaite This is an incredible security risk, just heard about a Santander customer that lost £5,000 because of this - and the bank is claiming that the customer must have written the PIN down somewhere. NatWest says it won't offer this service as it's too insecure. Get it turned off ASAP

  • bhp1905 Bert Pollheimer (@bhp1905) reported

@KarenStopHate Not tried it, but you can get 7 days free trial on the Apple website. If you have a NatWest bank account, you can also get 3 months free.

NatWest travel insurance hates speaking to people. That’s tricky when you need them. Is there an insurance company, you could recommend, that will take a phone call, and the recorded message doesn’t direct you to a website? Which company was there for you, when you needed them?

  • DancyDays Jen | Dancy Days (@DancyDays) reported

@Wolfs2Teen I've never had major problems with Santander, my Mum finds Natwest pretty good as well. Nationwide aren't great, Barclays are AWFUL.

  • VoortMartijn Martijn van der Voort (@VoortMartijn) reported

@NatWest_Help Well, that was another waste of time. Day late with mortgage, Natwest would be on people like a dart. Natwest making error and overcharge = 56 days to even provide response @guardianmoney

Customers also have access to 24-hour telephone banking or by logging on to NatWest Online Banking.

Me: No, that's creepy and completely ******* unnecessary - I know my customer ID, my passcode number, and my password, so, simply let me change the number without that total ******* invasion of my privacy, please? Natwest: It's for your privacy and security.

@MorganBroadcast This is horrendous the stress caused you through no fault of your own @VirginActiveUK for their poor security and yes you are responsible and I must say @santanderuk awful Natwest/Lloyds/Barclays would have suspended the account very quickly due to irregularities on your account

@Richard_D_E @NatWest @HSBC_UK Agree that UK address is needed. Relates to UK banking reform after the financial crisis. And recommend signing on with a doctor straight away. My son didn't, contracted severe Covid very early in first wave and was unable to access NHS when he was poorly.
