@DarrenSG_7 Profile visitor data is private on X, so I can't access it. From public interactions, you've engaged with verified brand accounts like NatWest and Footy Accumulators, but no famous individuals appear. If you mean someone specific, clarify!

@GregClinker Net losses to the U.K. government were c £25bn. Not a tiny sum. But only £700bn short of what you claim. A third of this was to save NatWest retail bank. It's really mortgages in America which caused this issue. We need innovation in the City urgently.

@shellenberger I live in the UK, my bank (Natwest) just refused me access to my own money and stopped me transferring money to a family relative. It told them it was a gift but they said it "sounded suspious" and declined the transaction. They refused to tell me how I can get it approved.

@ta_mills "We know Tommy Robinson once had an account with NatWest & HSBC." More likely Coutts. Now that would be an interesting customer list to see who mixed with who.

This very problem with NatWest some years back. They we’re chasing hard on our overdrawn business account. But NatWest was a customer of ours, so I sent the manager a letter attaching the overdue balances owed by them, politely suggesting that if they could see their way to paying us, we could have a decent balance in the bank. This did not go down well. No more NarWest custom.

@macarnecom @RevolutApp I agree, I have been in this boat myself hence the trying to find the legal text, mine was blocked for 6 weeks, I am glad I had another Account I could use, Mine was with Natwest. The system is broken but I also understand why they have the system at the same time.

NatWest goes all-in with AWS! Banking dinosaur finally gets with the times in five-year tech push with Amazon and Accenture. Single data platform will replace their ancient hodgepodge of systems. AI being bolted on to help relationship managers actually understand what customers want - crazy idea! While regulators moan about cloud dependency, NatWest's busy playing catch-up with fintech upstarts. About bloody time they sorted their tech. 20m customers might actually get decent service now instead of being trapped in 1990s banking.

My reply 'Rachel. I need to use the car charger! How do i get home?! It has now been 3 1/2 hours. Get a few bits and set off down the motorway with the bag?! You will not tell me what 'policy' , effectively my card is still blocked due to your 'policy', u deny me access to my own money. Esoecially disgusting is that one of the people i spoke to at natwest when asked if i was an old lady or someone in a wheelchair was told that natwest would do nothing for them either. That is appalling. And the promised call back from a manager Hasnt happened of course.'

@br1t1shpatr10t I don't know how anybody still bank's with NatWest. They closed my account down in 2020 and the man on the phone say "you're spending and sending too much money" insisted I needed a business account to move my own personal money.
