Natwest are now offering mortgages at *1.04%* fixed for 5 years so I am very seriously considering a Help-To-Buy. Upside: Much bigger flat, equity, spare room/office Downside: Zone 4, dependent on Crossrail finishing, market risk, doubtful anyone would visit, less greenery

@BenIrvineAuthor LOL people get their fair share!! Like a premium payment from Natwest recent profits ? Taxpayers get a share LOL what a pathetic joke, there is no such thing just an illusion. Keep working, keep voting for same broken system... unless you're in the system at a good pay grade

@MrMBrown I reported to NatWest about theirs and how it was actually broken - only to get another Bot response thanking me for reporting it…. It’s still broken…..

@LawdyMissClawdy @ThePureDrop From personal experience, with NatWest at least, if the bank spots potentially fraudulent activity on an account they will lock it and block all cards associated with it. They then notify you & ask you to contact them to confirm or otherwise the validity of recent transactions.

@PenLlawen NatWest aren't the poster boys of financial proprietary themselves tbf? Their parent RBS had to be bailed out for quite a bit more than a paltry £114m by us poor tax payers. I'm torn though as I have a NatWest pension from my time working for them I've yet to claim.

@EgressSoftware Please tell me why I can't access an encrypted DSAR from @NatWestGroup It appears that NatWest staff have no means of contacting you to find out what the problem is. #PGwidow

@Zubhaque @NatWest_Help That's terrible. I hope natwest realise their mistake and rectify things quickly.

@jameshurley And will the NatWest case find the same? Did EVERY case in the HSBC ruling relate to drug lords? Unlikely. My argument is that AML rules are broken, an investigation or judgement doesn't imply nefariousness, carelessness maybe, but the friendly you are, the higher your risk.
