@TechToyTinker @playnewworld More food for thought here. You bought the game and have played it. What in that means you should get a refund. Essentially you payed for a good and received a good. You have now used this good for 3 months. If you were also paying for the online service then a refund works.

@playnewworld @playnewworld From a MiM perspective at least say something. "We're sorry for the continued outage, we are doing all we can to resolve it" etc. etc. People like to hear something even if in essence its nothing!

@playnewworld This is a backend infra issue on the AWS platform. i bet LOTS of stuff is down. this isnt a NW issue, its an Amazon AWS issue. the lack of redundancy is a bit concerning though.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Nate50723854 @Ayo_ItzRed @playnewworld Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is used by thousands of services and websites, was brought down around 11am EST on the East coast. It affected my job a bit too. Some services are still down and I'm sure they'll be up and down tomorrow as well while they fix the issue.

@FlammingItalian @playnewworld Oh okay, it’s a hardware issue, data corruption, or cutting it off to separate it from malware is the question I’m really asking. “When it’s safe to do so” can fall under one of the three though really, but with the Twitch hack, along side many other large hacks in rcnt years
