@nowtvhelp I am currently using the NowTV Player software on PC w/ a HDMI cable to my TV. This works OK but occasionally this freezes and the video & audio go out of sync which wasn't an issue with Chromecast.

I was so wrong about Peacock not coming to the UK - still trying to work out how it plans to coexist as a distinct product with Sky. Most of the launch content is already streaming via #skyq and #nowtv

NOW TV Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • anu anu (@anu) reported

@NOWTV 6 weeks later, the quality is still terrible. I'm watching on an iMac, using the Now TV MacOS application, on a 1Gbps Virgin internet connection. Everything has been rebooted and updated.

  • katejbishopx 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐄 (@katejbishopx) reported

@NOWTV It’s still not working, I deleted and reinstalled the app but the same message still keeps coming up.

  • AnfractuousOne Anfractuous (@AnfractuousOne) reported

It’s the Lite BTW. Don’t think the full size one would work suitably there. Now to choose which series/movies to download to watch from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and NowTV...maybe other on demand services too! Not sure how reliable the hospital network will be!

  • kiwi5755 RyanQ (@kiwi5755) reported

@NOWTV I'd love to see @rickygervais and @SteveCarell work in or on something together again.

  • JoeHancockUK Joe (@JoeHancockUK) reported

@NOWTV Uninstalled app but still getting same issue?

  • thenamesNOTskip JOEL 🦖🎱 (@thenamesNOTskip) reported

@NOWTV that’s the only socket that i have! to even get service i have to constantly reset the router and multiple times a day..! are you experiencing service issues in SE5?

  • MissSHornsby Sarah Hornsby 🙋 (@MissSHornsby) reported

I need help from someone techy! I have an Amazon fire tablet, I like to watch stuff while I run on the treadmill. Have read that Now is available for it now, but when I try to download, it keeps asking to install on a phone I don’t own any more - any ideas? @NOWTV @amazon

  • scully1888 Chris Scullion (@scully1888) reported

It's a shame that NowTV has so much good stuff on it because it's one of the most awful streaming experiences you'll find, from the need to pay extra for 1080p(!) to the need to download an app to watch it on PC instead of just watching it on a browser.

  • nmstoker Neil Stoker (@nmstoker) reported

@NOWTV Yes, the pattern is that it starts working after an update and then the setting for Local Network access gets messed up and you can't cast I know what to do but my point is your app should be smart enough to avoid this or at the very least flag the issue (ie lost local network)

  • Oddnut Marie Davies 💙 (@Oddnut) reported

@NOWTV Yes, still the same problem. It's been two days now. I've tried on both my smartphone (Samsung Note 9) and my TV (JMB make) and both give the same, "Oops, something's gone wrong" response.
