@HSouthwellFE I once asked a friend at Sky and was genuinely astonished to find out NowTV wasn't some kind of blackop, deliberately kept just barely functional but always awful, to drive sky subscriptions

@NOWTV Is there a fix yet for getting the NOWTV player running on Windows10? It used to work but then it stopped working. I have been through every help guide I can on this subject but it still does not work... If I open the player, it goes black, then closes.

@NOWHelpTeam Not sure, but I've gone back to nowtv stick and the quality still nowhere near as good as bt. Paying extra for boost I'd expect at least as good. You have the tech to provide better quality. Obviously a policy not to, so as not to tempt some away from paying silly money for sky.

@garius @NOWTV 5 different options, 2 of which sound tangentially relevant to your situation but lead to further submenus that take you further away from what your actual issue is?

Been tearing my hair out @skytv. NowTV wouldn’t load anything at all on my iPhone. No help on the website and seems you try your best not to give contact to real people. Turns out it is iCloud Private Relay. nowTV WILL NOT WORK with it in the UK. Hopefully useful info for people

@NOWHelpTeam Your self service checker is awful, it originally claimed the internet appeared slow but the speeds normal (33Mbit down), it then claimed the issue was within the house yet nothing has changed in the house and I even tried the other NowTV router. Same issue via master socket.

@garius @NOWTV I had similar problems with @virginmedia. It seems silly, but a letter emailed to their operations director got some action.

@NOWTV Right now the only path I can see to actually chatting to a human being at @NOW is to physically rip the line to my house out of the box over the road. So that the line test will fail. So that I can tell them the router is broken. It's a magnificent bit of banality of evil.

@NOWHelpTeam Trying to view sites of VPN providers (Nord, Express, SurfShark) but can't - w/o using a VPN?! If I use TunnelBear they work, but if not they time out. Are you blocking them? Not trying to use a VPN to view NowTV, but to shop for a VPN for secure browsing overseas
