@RobinTheTwit @O2 I honestly don’t hold out any hope at all. I suspect the problem will continue for a couple of months. I can get a good deal with EE and they won’t miss 2 customers.

  • JudgeDewie Alex (@JudgeDewie) reported

@RobinTheTwit @O2 I reply again to say they are now breaking the law because you legally MUST tell a customer “your statutory rights are not affected” because the law overrides any contract and they still don’t get it and tell me I’m not entitled. I’ve saved the correspondence to report it.

  • carmeyb Carmel Brady (@carmeyb) reported

@O2 I’ve changed from Tesco to o2, keeping my number and was told it’d be complete by 6pm...still not working! Help!

  • JudgeDewie Alex (@JudgeDewie) reported

@RobinTheTwit @O2 No company starts any engineering project without a predicted end date. They probably knew all along it would be 6 months so they lie and say “soon” in the hope customers don’t leave. Not suggesting the customer services people are lying. They won’t be told so they don’t know.

  • RobinTheTwit Robin of sorts (@RobinTheTwit) reported

@JudgeDewie @O2 I hope some senior management is reading this thread and realising how awful the company they work for is being. Maybe someone in their public relations dept should be made aware…

  • JudgeDewie Alex (@JudgeDewie) reported

@RobinTheTwit @O2 They have really annoyed me on that front too. They told me I’m not entitled to compensation. I pointed out the law on supply of goods and services. They sent me their T&Cs that say no refund for lack of service. I pointed out the law overrides that. They tell me I’m not entitled

  • ClareFunsize85 Clare Hush (funsize) (@ClareFunsize85) reported from Gillingham, England

@O2 absolutely disgusted with your service! I have been with O2 for over 10 years now and never had a problem until today! I think I'll go else where...

  • Onachisale Oli (@Onachisale) reported

What’s going on with your network @O2 ? Right now my wifi >>> data

  • JudgeDewie Alex (@JudgeDewie) reported

@RobinTheTwit @O2 I spoke to the neighbours about it but they’re a little wary of going to court - which is fair enough. If I was O2 I would just refund a customer who has had 2 contracts with you for 2 phones for over a decade for the 2 months inconvenience but they don’t want to set a precedent

  • RobinTheTwit Robin of sorts (@RobinTheTwit) reported

@JudgeDewie @O2 They should be held more accountable for continuation of service. Were it a landline you’d be owed automatic compensation for each day of lack of service. As mobiles have take over from landlines at home they should be treated in the same way imo
