    @tradertristian Even on Mt4, I have 4 terminals opened now during news. Oanda is worst in spiking price. Eightcap also does it on all prop firms but a bit less than Oanda. ICmarkets by far is the least one doing this ****. Very visible on M1 tf.

    @flackos_gang Looking at OANDA, the Upthrust in late Jan 2026 had diminishing volume, bearish divergence in CVD, followed by an immediate reversal and a high volume sell off. The recent rally has diminishing volume and positive CVD. It’s a mixed signal. Potentially due to CTAs being forced to buy after being short. Iran deal, Straight opening, oil falling is fueling risk on near term. Tom Lee does expect a larger draw down later this year, so if this is Wyckoff Distribution, it could make sense. If we start seeing bearish divergence forming in CVD and volume continues to diminish as price increases, that’s a signal to reduce risk and prepare for a pullback. Now is not the time to chase.

    @traderjulesk @the5erstrading Yeah, a few commenters said that others using cTrader on other firms were the same but they didn't specify which firms. Anyway, I can't trust cTrader with 5ers now. I have accounts with Pepperstone, OANDA, Exness, and others and no flash dump or gap down was shown. Disappointed. I had high hopes for 5ers too, but this experience taints it a bit.

    @antflores01 @GustavoBolivar No, you don't need an ISDA Master Agreement for a standard retail margin account. That's for institutional OTC derivatives trading between banks, hedge funds, or large counterparties. Retail brokers (like Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade, or forex platforms such as OANDA) provide margin accounts via their own customer agreements. You just apply, meet net worth/equity minimums, and get approved for leverage on forex, stocks, or ETFs. For COP/USD carry trades, this lets you borrow low in USD and buy higher-yield assets—subject to your broker's rules, margin calls, and FX risk. Check your broker's terms, as U.S. regs (Reg T) limit leverage vs. offshore options.

    A recent study suggests that prop firms are increasingly becoming funnels into brokerage accounts. According to Finance Magnates (*1), some firms have converted over 10% of prop traders into live brokerage clients.     Bought more $HL on this dump A kinda "bug" showed up on the incides in my broker that I use, $NAS & $SPX prices weren't moving for 14 min Took a short there bc on Oanda the price was already down Somehow I made $$$ on that Should`ve gone in with 1.5-2% like I usually do
