@flyerbetic @OriginBroadband Mike, I genuinely have never worked for a worse company. Just Google them and you’ll understand. They have about 6 people on IT support and about 10 people who are cross trained on everything. It’s an absolute **** show.

@_fadgie_ @OriginBroadban1 @OriginBroadband Trying to charge me £1.50 a month because their internet won’t connect properly to my Nintendo switch?? How is that legal? It’s THEIR issue I shouldn’t have to pay for it

@OriginBroadband Just received an email saying you'll be increasing my fixed term broadband prices by 3.9% + CPI. I'm assuming its OK to cancel my contract without penalty? Getting no response from the web chat

@OriginBroadband @davidjbodman You are not, I am not on a rolling contract, I am on a fixed term contract. Ofcom guidelines clearly state I should have the option to cancel without penalty. Are you saying the Origin are doing that?

‘Easy to use service that gives you everything you expect’ - evidently not. What’s more frustrating is that as a teacher the internet is more essential to me than ever. I am currently at a 50% higher risk contracting COVID as I am unable to work from home @OriginBroadband - help

@OriginBroadband @OriginBroadban1 Material detriment A1.10 Ofcom is likely to treat any price increase4 to the agreed core subscription price (however constructed and described in the contract terms)5 during the fixed term of a telecommunications contract as a modification

@OriginBroadband You recently announced price increases and say "We have invested in our national network and equipment to improve the overall performance of our network." the only problem is YOU DON'T HAVE A NETWORK! you are just a reseller. This is a complete lie

@OriginBroadband have left my elderly grandparents without any internet for the past week leaving them EXTREMELY isolated and impacting on their emotional well-being. The customer services executive left them in tears and charged them before their router had even arrived.
