@OriginBroadband support team told me that they’ve received numerous reports of similar problems other customers are facing!

  • rachelgmarks Sir Rachel Marks (@rachelgmarks) reported

@MsEmmaChaplin @Plusnet I'm with @OriginBroadband - very few issues and good service when setting up (real humans!). Strong signal on all floors (including attic room) and in courtyard garden. No need for separate phone line which appealed to me.

  • JerryonTwidder JerryonTwidder (@JerryonTwidder) reported

This is how good @OriginBroadband are at customer service: several times (including over the phone) I have asked them to stop sending me bills for £0.00. This company not only has a useless IT system that sends out such stupid emails but poorly trained staff who take no notice.

  • ZoxedSK Zoxed (@ZoxedSK) reported

@OriginBroadband how do I contact you about a broken modem?

  • GaryMyers321 Gary Myers (@GaryMyers321) reported

@OriginBroadband ...... can you tell me whether you are still answering calls for Origin Business Line customers? My internet has been down for 2 days now, and no one is answering the phone!!

  • Rob_Clark Rob Clark (@Rob_Clark) reported

@Schmell_DeCoffe @OriginBroadband That was the email I never got.

  • Rob_Clark Rob Clark (@Rob_Clark) reported

Well @OriginBroadband please do in contact with me ASAP as my static IP which I pay for has changed again and the info your tech support gave me contradicts this. He then put the phone down on me when I said so! #nothappy

  • Schmell_DeCoffe Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported

@MeghnaMajumdar @OriginBroadband Most companies worth their salt have a live service checker to tell you if there is an outage.

  • MeghnaMajumdar Meghna Majumdar (@MeghnaMajumdar) reported

@OriginBroadband Is there an internet outage?? Or is it just the rubbish router again. Not renewing this connection

  • MeghnaMajumdar Meghna Majumdar (@MeghnaMajumdar) reported

@OriginBroadband Your internet router is of such poor quality. It literally disconnects if the wind blows

  • MeghnaMajumdar Meghna Majumdar (@MeghnaMajumdar) reported

@OriginBroadband is there an internet outage in london or is it just the router that never works???

  • Schmell_DeCoffe Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported

@DrPennyC @OriginBroadband You can stop your contract at any time, but they will charge you an early termination fee (as would 99% of other providers), unfortunately you are legally obliged to pay for the service for whatever time still remains on your contract.

  • Newrsoul Newrsoul (@Newrsoul) reported

@OriginBroadband, had an email to tell me they are cancelling my service fixed IP address, I've one 1! I'd have thought that most people who order this do it for a reason! Time to move. Apparently dynamic provides all the benefits of a static without the cost - bullsh1t

  • Syndicate1911 Syndicate333 (@Syndicate1911) reported

@OriginBroadband Do you ever reply to emails? Your online chat never works either. On top of that you just sent me abill fo line rental for £20 for no reason when I paid up front for 12 months. Not happy!

  • DrPennyC Dr Penny Carey (@DrPennyC) reported

@OriginBroadband can you advise how I stop my contract as I'm moving house? I can't find anything on the website or customer portal. Only stuff about moving it to my new address.

  • DavidInSouthend DavidInSouthend (@DavidInSouthend) reported

@OriginBroadband we're getting a pre-recorded msg that says 'no routes found' when dialling numbers in USA and Canada. Been like this since yesterday. Called support but no joy getting it fixed. Can you help?

  • FilmLifestyle Matt Jacobs (@FilmLifestyle) reported

@OriginBroadband - I’ve DMed to get this security breach issue sorted asap. This isn’t a good look. Please respond to my DM and resolve my internet issue asap.

  • JerryonTwidder JerryonTwidder (@JerryonTwidder) reported

So when you "move house" as a @OriginBroadband customer they treat you as a new customer, give you a new customer reference, leave the old account intact and put you on a new contract. WTF can't they just tie the new supply address to the existing account and contract?

  • mholdsworth001 Michael Holdsworth (@mholdsworth001) reported

@OriginBroadband Hi I have been trying to cancel my broadband for some time now I was out of contract last year, can someone answer the phone at the call centre ? Thanks in advance

  • JerryonTwidder JerryonTwidder (@JerryonTwidder) reported

@OriginBroadband Hello. My service is due to be connected on 10th Feb. Why has my router not yet arrived?

  • RukaiyaVazifdar Rukaiya Vazifdar. (@RukaiyaVazifdar) reported

@OriginBroadband My internet is down - cannot log in. Please respond as I’ve been trying to ring for 2 days now!

  • Schmell_DeCoffe Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported

@ross11ross @OriginBroadband They do, it's called switching your internet service provider.

  • waynesables Wayne Sables (@waynesables) reported

@AndrewRWhite @OriginBroadband The service is getting worst and worst. It's completely unusable.

  • Schmell_DeCoffe Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported

@danjelley @OriginBroadband More contractual word trickery from @OriginBroadband, the cooling off period is 14 days from sign up or until your service is installed, but they hardly ever install until after the 14 days have expired, that way you don't realise you've been screwed until after you are screwed.

  • MissHedgie Natalie (@MissHedgie) reported

@OriginBroadband is your service down in the Chelmsford area? Haven’t been able to get connected all morning.

  • connormcdermot connor mcdermott (@connormcdermot) reported

@OriginBroadband I have an issue with my network and I can’t seem to use the online chat service on the website?

  • Schmell_DeCoffe Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported

@lindahudson66 @OriginBroadband They are professional thieves, using misdirection and contractual law to scalp people out of their money. That they use illegally installed recurring payments to recover money when people cancel direct debits due to poor service is only one of their tools of deception.
