@MartinSLewis I’m with @OriginBroadband pay £28 a month, the speeds are awful and extremely unreliable, customer service is non existent. Been in touch with them so many times in the 3 months I’ve had it and no further forward. Word of warning to others!

@trustpilot just signed up with @OriginBroadband they sent a broken router and cannot tell me if a new box can be sent before the go live date. Its the first time I have used them very disappointed

Morag Malchick (@Devotchka0183) reported
@xblackcatxx13 @OriginBroadband They're just crap. I used Martin Lewis's site and asked them to waive my termination fees because of poor service (which they did) and just get someone else. Good luck with the handover.
-
Morag Malchick (@Devotchka0183) reported
@Agent47Connor @OriginBroadband I think they just give out a phone number that doesn't work because I had the same issue. Just ask them to waive your termination fees due to poor service and get someone else.

Elliot Brown (@elliotjbrown) reported from Hillingdon, England
@OriginBroadband Disappointing broadband performance for a while now (months). Chat/Called a couple of times to try and fix the problems. I’ve currently been sat on chat with Tech Support since 09:01 with no resolve and limited responses. I’ve had one response in 45 minutes.
-
Morag Malchick (@Devotchka0183) reported
@topballak @OriginBroadband I asked them to waive my termination fees in light of poor service, which they did. I'd find someone else - Origin have been nothing but trouble. Report them to trading standards too (I have) so their rep gets about.
-
P a i g e . (@paige_114) reported
@Kazza_Cookie @MartinSLewis @OriginBroadband I think they’ve given up with me. I’ve put a complaint in through resolver, hoping I get somewhere with them. I just wish they would let me cancel it. Awful service
-
Thomas Seager (@thomas_seager) reported
@OriginBroadband Not happy, your customer service is as slow as your internet speeds – so far waiting over 45 minutes for a reply on your Technical Service live chat. Says replying in under 8 minutes. Running on 0.8mbps. Awful service received so far!
-
Alex Dresco (@drescoding) reported
@OriginBroadband really struggling with your services. We’re now having a 0.05mbps download speed and can’t contact you. The chat availability is down on your website and we can’t find a number.
-
Morag Malchick (@Devotchka0183) reported
@Lunindi @OriginBroadband Just leave them. Report the poor service and ask them to waive your termination and get another provider. I would encourage you to report them to trading standards too. Then their rep will be more well known.

Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported
@TrickerTheDon @OriginBroadban1 @OriginBroadband before they almost went bust in 2018 they were running a call centre with no more than 20 customer service agents at any one time and 1 sometimes 2 tech guys, they slashed the workforce by half to cut costs. So how many people do you think they have answering the phones now ? ?
-
John Alzayat (@EquinoxPhoenix) reported
@GameboyLuke @OriginBroadband Time to cancel then, if they can't be asked to provide the service you are paying for they don't deserve your money. Or anyone's money for that matter.
-
Geri (@Geri18) reported
@OriginBroadband just signed up with them, and received a broken router, feel very shaky about the service, don't know if they can start on go live date. Massive disruption
-
Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported
@KennethCarleto6 @GameboyLuke @OriginBroadband Because the people behind the scenes that own and control the company are complete ***** with no interest other than money, don't judge the staff in the same light, they are genuinely trying to help you but are handcuffed by company policy and GREED!

@OriginBroadband @OriginBroadban1 I don't know why it drops in and out so much. It's at its worst with the BBC iPlayer for some reason.

@OriginBroadband I want to cancel my broadband. I cannot get any customer service! Not answering phones or webchat!!! Surely this is illegal ???
-
Niamh Hills (@HillsNiamh) reported from Cranleigh, England
@MartinSLewis I’m with @OriginBroadband on £17.99 a month for 35mbps on their Superfast Broadband. Have just switched - was previously on standard broadband. Occasionally drops out & had one day in November where service dropped out completely but otherwise ok.
-
Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported
@CMaton1 @OriginBroadband Reminds me of when I was using Compunet on my Commodore 64 back in 1983. With chronically slow speeds of 1200/75 baud it was still way better & more stable than the **** that @OriginBroadband are peddling as a service. Also, when you rang them at least someone answered the phone.
-
P a i g e . (@paige_114) reported
@Geri18 @OriginBroadband I’d cancel if you can, there service is awful
-
Wake UP! and smell the Coffee (@Schmell_DeCoffe) reported
@Meesh590 @OriginBroadband just wait till you cancel and they continue to bill you for 5 months afterwards even though you are with a different company, their ineptitude knows no boundaries.

Nothing but problems since joining @OriginBroadband looks like so has everybody else from what I see on Twitter and reviews. I’ve had “ DOUBLE - NAT “ since joining your company. Which isn’t suitable for online gaming. Which is all I use it for. Needs fixing. Support is terrible.
