Once you have this we can work out how much you are owed, issue a fictitious cheque, and then repeatedly claim it's lost in the post until you give up all hope of a refund.

    @smarkhunter @OriginBroadband im fed up of them Stephen, im gonna end up cancelling my Direct Debit, even though im in a contract, I don't care! I might have agreed to a contract verbally but I haven't signed anything! im fed up of it and i've just learnt they are using TALK TALK which makes it even worst

    @jev42 @VodafoneUK @OriginBroadband its worth noting as well Origin charge 2 months in advance for most customers so when you leave you have already paid for the time after you have left so that money is owed. Origin dont auto issue refunds

I don't know if this terrible excuse for an ISP still has a social media presence, but to my comrades still under the threat of contract termination charges, I promise you, it will end.

    I've finally switched to @VodafoneUK. I can't tell you how relieved I am to no longer be under contract with @OriginBroadband - it's a bad when you have to chase the router; bad when they won't explain multiple outages; bad when you can't stream when paying for fibre. Do not use.

    @bounderboy @OriginBroadband I'm starting to think that they have serious problems with either their hardware or engineers who are responsible for maintenance. Contacted origin several times and their customer service was lovely but the internet, it literally goes down at the very least once a month sadly.

    @OriginBroadband Hi, we have opted to cancel our contract as this is the second mistake with our switchover. Despite your company withdrawing service to our property last night we're tied in for another month so you get 30 days notice. Disappointed we only found out about the CVA through CH!

    @WelovePetexxx @OriginBroadband @OpenreachHelp I've since been in touch with both of them and have told me this however initially I was told that the engineer might simply not look at his notes, or not have signal to call. I'm happy to stay at home and wait for them however if they don't call they can't get it. Frustrating!
