  • HJMandleberg Helena Mandleberg (@HJMandleberg) reported from Redditch, England

@OriginBroadband I’ve only been a customer for a week and am already seriously unimpressed. I have no broadband a week after ‘installation’ and can’t even access my account to check the status of my order. Really, really poor. I’d appreciate some contact ASAP please.

  • badwolfjane jane elledge (@badwolfjane) reported from Bromsgrove, England

@junententh @OriginBroadband Did you resolve this issue regarding Xbox one double Nat as getting this and it is nothing within our end so something Origin or MS have done?

  • badwolfjane jane elledge (@badwolfjane) reported from Bromsgrove, England

@junententh @OriginBroadband Ah ok. Don’t want to swap provider as no problem with Origin other than this. Might have found a way using port forwarding on the router - fingers crossed

@OriginBroadband Have @OriginBroadband gone bust? Broadband no longer works, the customer portal doesn't work and no one answers the phone or DMs. It's all looking like time to find a new supplier.

  • McComisky The Privateers (@McComisky) reported

Fantastic customer service from @OriginBroadband and Martin in Doncaster. Broadband up and running sweetly. Please locate this customer service advisor and thank him from me.

  • MrWayneThompson Wayne Thompson (@MrWayneThompson) reported

@OriginBroadband is an absolute joke. Customer services are insulting & some workers clearly dont do jobs correctly. I've never had this problem with any other companies as they listen. I take care of all my moms bills due to her age & deafness. She gives consent yet you don't

  • GrahamMarley Graham Marley (@GrahamMarley) reported

@OriginBroadband absolute rip off merchants. Having charged my daughter over £200 in 2020 for broadband that NEVER worked you have just made her pay £40 on a contract she doesn't have. You ignore correspondence and refused to deal with me despite having authority. BEWARE

  • editfmah Adrian Herridge (@editfmah) reported

@CraftyOldGit @OriginBroadband You can then see if you are getting 1000's of unrecoverable errors causing it to be slow. Or if you are on a really really old ADSL connection (like I was at Longleat), then I kept getting locked into a very low BRAS profile and it would stay at 1-2 MBs for weeks and slowly climb

  • CraftyOldGit Mike Wilson 🐟 (@CraftyOldGit) reported

@editfmah @OriginBroadband Well the problem I was having turns out not to be with Origin. On my iPhone, the SpeedSmart app reports < 5Mbps, the same app on my iPad reports > 35Mbps. Problem lies with phone by the look of it. Mystifying. Will investigate that face plate idea, thanks.

  • JerryonTwidder JerryonTwidder (@JerryonTwidder) reported

This is how good @OriginBroadband are at customer service: several times (including over the phone) I have asked them to stop sending me bills for £0.00. This company not only has a useless IT system that sends out such stupid emails but poorly trained staff who take no notice.

  • CraftyOldGit Mike Wilson 🐟 (@CraftyOldGit) reported

As you were @OriginBroadband — problem seems to be with the SpeedSmart app on my iPhone. Crappy Zoom call quality could be someone else’s problem, too.

  • editfmah Adrian Herridge (@editfmah) reported

@CraftyOldGit @OriginBroadband No problems. Also, it';s good to know that the filter is very very tolerant of electrical events so when doing the dance with technical support teams, it's hardly ever going to be a filter failure.

  • SpeedSmart SpeedTest SpeedSmart (@SpeedSmart) reported

@ParkerColin @CraftyOldGit @OriginBroadband Lots of speed tests use servers that are hosted by the ISP you are using. So your traffic never leaves there network. This makes the result unrealistic. What server location are you testing from and what speed are you paying for?
