@djlowry @OriginBroadband lots of others have complained are the same thing and are now leaving as they are breaking their contract with the customer which clearly states price rises only for rolling contracts not fixed terms

@OriginBroadban1 @OriginBroadband I have paid Origin £300 (No service), but I am still receiving messages from debt collectors that I owe £488?!! What's happening? Can you please make this stop

Very disappointed in @OriginBroadband upselling me into a 18 month contract just a month ago then following it up with a swift price hike. A very shady move. Only took six months to go from a sure-thing to never-again. Ofcom here I come?

@OriginBroadband I have spent over an hour and a half online with "support", they say I cannot cancel my contract before June otherwise, I will have to pay penalties. Why not answer here why you feel you can ignore the guidelines I've linked to? Or are Origin going to reverse this policy?

@davidjbodman @OriginBroadban1 @OriginBroadband I've sent a complaint asking them to explain how they're exempt from both their contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. As their ombudsman definitely IS regulated by ofcom. Looking forward to their answer

@OriginBroadband you've been down twice in less than 2 hours sort it out.

@OriginBroadband @OriginBroadban1 Material detriment A1.10 Ofcom is likely to treat any price increase4 to the agreed core subscription price (however constructed and described in the contract terms)5 during the fixed term of a telecommunications contract as a modification

@OriginBroadband “keeping it simple” of course it’s so simple you hike up the price and make a bad service even worse. All staff are now in the complaints department.

@OriginBroadband @davidjbodman You are not, I am not on a rolling contract, I am on a fixed term contract. Ofcom guidelines clearly state I should have the option to cancel without penalty. Are you saying the Origin are doing that?
