Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
YUPENG Li (@Liyupeng) reported@Plusnet Please stop advertising and telling people they can port in their old number before you fix the issue. Warning to the new joiner, DO NOT port in your number to Plusnet.
-
Becky Palmer (@bex1884) reported@Maribellmouse @Plusnet I would agree! I will get in touch with the Ombudsman, as this is unacceptable & we are paying for a service that isn’t being provided
-
katie (@ktnolanxx) reported@Plusnet I am disgusted that you are allowing people to take out phone contacts without notifying them that there is an issue. I want to switch to a different provider but have been told that I could lose my original phone number. I have now been without a working phone since 12th April.

Edward Dore (@Spheron1) reported@carlheaton @Plusnet @TalkTalk TalkTalk were (understandably) rather annoyed as the line was still within the minimum term. I somehow managed to get it stopped (this was under the old switching rules) but Plusnet we’re too incompetent to work out how they had done this and fix it, so they ghosted me instead!
-
Edward Dore (@Spheron1) reported@carlheaton @Plusnet @TalkTalk I had the opposite problem years ago - had a TalkTalk Business ADSL line to use as a backup and wanted to add a Plusnet FTTC line when leaving Virgin Media. Despite explicitly paying Plusnet to install a new line, they instead tried to take over the existing TalkTalk line!

-..-._._-._:-_._-.-__-._:-._ (@MCMLXXXIVCLXI) reported@Plusnet Dear Plusnet, I can't get hold of you to pay my bill. My lanline is down, and your restrictions have blocked me to your site.
-
carl^ (@carlheaton) reportedWas a happy FTTC customer with @Plusnet , ordered FTTP as a new customer with @TalkTalk so I could test it out fully, no mention of transfer, just a different/new product. I can't say I'm massively surprised TalkTalk has disconnected Plusnet without my permission but WTF...
-
Dave Owens (@DaveOwe65959909) reported@Plusnet Please note I left your broadband service on the 19 April, why are you still billing me?
-
Marianne (@Maribellmouse) reported@EmjayRox1 @Plusnet Same issue here! And they still are not warning new customers! It’s shameful!
-
sprout 💙💛 (@CSM76) reportedChuff sake @plusnethelp @Plusnet 20min and counting trying to talk to someone about this month's mangled bill. Not the sort of customer service I expect
