Plusnet are not a Broadband company, they are just a subsidiary of BT, so if your connection goes down, then all they can do is send a message to BT to fix it. Unlike Gtech and Virgin, Plusnet does not have its own Fibre Cable Lines. They don’t tell you this in their adverts.

@MartinSLewis I switched from EE to Plusnet and then BT Mobile as had better packages. I had to cancel both as even though they both run off the EE platform the signal is strangled and much worse. Maybe better in big towns/cities but something to consider in rural areas @MartinSLewis

@Plusnet any idea on if/when you plan to offer 5g and WiFi calling? I've just got a shiny new 5g phone and want to be able to use 5g. I've been a loyal customer for many years but might have to switch to another provider if there is no roadmap for 5g and WiFi calling?

@Plusnet I am getting messages and emails telling me I used 105, 30%, 50% of my smartcap. I did not. Are your system having issues?

@Plusnet hello, I have a problem with my bill.

No service in stanley county durham #plusnet

  • ProfPilk A P (@ProfPilk) reported

@toomuchsand @Plusnet They seem to only have 3G roaming and many countries are turning this system off. This is what I eventually discovered was my problem in Germany. Calls and texts still work, but internet was not usable.

  • borristhepanda Borris the Panda 🇺🇦 (@borristhepanda) reported

@KisbeeWayne @davidjrussel @MartinSLewis Plusnet doesn’t currently support 4G calling, which means when you make or receive a call, your phone has to drop down to 3G or 2G. EE have some low frequency 4G spectrum around 800MHz, which significantly improves their coverage (lower frequencies go further and penetrate…

@Plusnet It shows up but says "unable to connect to this network". A few retries usually sorts it. Reboot of the router otherwise. I'll probably hard wire that one. Happens once in a blue moon on other devices that try to connect (which are all much further away from the router)

  • ProfPilk A P (@ProfPilk) reported

@rodakthered @Plusnet I think it is because they only have 3G partners and many countries are turning this service off as they have 4 and 5G. I found this out the hard way in Germany recently…
