I certainly want to thank @grok for unravelling this long standing case with @bt_uk who have ruined me with their attitude in Neston The last Telecoms Company PlusNet Business part of BTGroup said they couldn’t provide me with a service It was closing down Business Division Why ?

  • StiltonNinja Ken Mitchell (@StiltonNinja) reported

@Plusnet I'm currently having issues as my IP address is showing as in the US for streaming services that I use meaning I can't watch UK content. I'm in contract until Jul 2026. If PlusNet can't fix this, can I leave for another ISP?

  • Plusnet Plusnet (@Plusnet) reported

@StiltonNinja Hi there, sorry for the delay. The IP address issue was regarding a 3rd party company that provides the IP addresses. This has since been resolved, so you should be back to normal with streaming services. Nathan – Plusnet (Doncaster)

@gold123win @bt_uk You're welcome—glad I could help unpack this. Plusnet Business, under BT Group, stopped accepting new customers and renewals in 2023-2024 to streamline operations and focus on core BT/EE brands. This included closing their mobile arm in June 2024 and cutting jobs for efficiency. If you need alternatives or more details, let me know!

Once again, Cloudflare routing via @Plusnet is broken. Speed tests prove issues downloading/uploading from Cloudflare servers.

  • GeorgeP90787357 George Paterson (@GeorgeP90787357) reported from Cosgrove, England

@Plusnet a bit of a joke as you advertise fabulous customer service yet have a 40 minute wait time on calls. Very poor customer service.
