@BeansInYourBum @MatthewStadlen @CentreLeft_ Though Sky and TalkTalk do have a switching service for user email accounts, you can hold on to your Plusnet and BT for an additional monthly fee after your service switches.

  • MazzJaverick Amy (@MazzJaverick) reported

@Plusnet So you can respond about seven hours later? I am currently having to restart my hub every day to get even close to a decent service. Still trying to work from home at the moment, so can I send you an invoice for lost hours??

  • DigitalStefan Stefan (he / him) (@DigitalStefan) reported

@ispreview I once looked at Plusnet for pricing. It took 20 minutes, a call to them and a spreadsheet to work out. Why? Introductory discounts for the first few months and entirely different minimum contract lengths for broadband and fixed line service. Ended up not competitive.

  • macronencer Mike Torr (@macronencer) reported

@Plusnet I've been waiting on your sales line listening to music for over twenty minutes now. I can't use the customer service line because I don't have a landline yet! What can I do? I need help with an order.

  • Plusnet Plusnet (@Plusnet) reported

@macronencer Hi Mike, I'm sorry to hear about this. Are you able to let me know what help you need with the order please? - Curtis, Plusnet Sheffield

  • JasonAJardine Jason Jardine (@JasonAJardine) reported

A quick Twitter search of @EE and Towcester suggests their mobile phone signal has been poor to nonexistent in the town for years and they've done nothing to.improve it. This explains why my @Plusnet mobile service is dreadful.

  • Bazman500 Ian Barrie (@Bazman500) reported

@Plusnet … three time slots, I just need an engineer when you are next available. We are at home all week 24/7. Just please tell me when the person is popping round and we will have tea and biscuits ready. Honestly, just fix it ASAP. Please.

  • macronencer Mike Torr (@macronencer) reported

@Plusnet There is a deeper technical issue here though. In order to match those 2 characters, I think the server has to store my password as plaintext. Even though no operators can see it, that means it's less secure and could be stolen more easily in a hack.

  • macronencer Mike Torr (@macronencer) reported

Plusnet phone support is helpful, but I was slightly concerned that they did "data security" by asking me two characters from my password. The password I had set for use logging into the web site. You know... the one that SHOULD have been securely hashed on the server. Hmm...

@Plusnet Hi.I upgraded my broadband last month to the 58-63Mb download speed but I am still only running at 16 to 17 Mb but getting charged more. So in essence I am paying more for a worse service. Can you improve this please?
