@SaxonKate @virginmedia @bt_uk Good luck with leaving bt they are awful. Worst company ever. Plusnet are the best I’ve found. I’m on their unlimited fibre extra broadband at £26.99 a month and they are great.I also got cashback by going through topcashback.

@Plusnet It's plugged directly into the master socket. We had a similar problem last year.

@esarty Hi Steve, I've just made some changes to your account to patch up the broadband issue until we get your new account up and running. Would you mind giving this another try and confirming if the broadband is working? - Cal, Plusnet Leeds

@Plusnet Fix the tinter webs while your there. 👍

  • esarty Esarty (@esarty) reported

So @Plusnet gave us internet for the week of the move - then today, when we’re due to be back working from home, they’ve switched it off again, and aren’t sure how long it’ll be before they can switch it back on. Absolutely shambolic service from them over the last two weeks.

  • SamTurrell Sam Turrell (@SamTurrell) reported

@iainab99 @Plusnet Absolutely nuts what’s going on here. Surely they understand there’s a widespread issue and should be looking into it and communicating as such?!

  • shadebug EdD (@shadebug) reported

Damn, spend ages trying to set up a password that's short enough and insecure enough for an @virginmedia account only to get told I can't set up an account at the moment. Can we please get a useful ISP in the UK? We used to have @Plusnet but they got bought out by @bt_uk

  • iainab99 Vivere Aeque (@iainab99) reported

@slash_addicted @anuja2015 @Plusnet Same. It’s painful. No idea whether it being a weekend causes this slow pace of acknowledging the issue

  • slash_addicted Sharon (@slash_addicted) reported

@Plusnet I've worked in customer service in one form or another for 30 years, I know how it goes. Have a good day. 👍

  • Matsukaze1310 Doc Neenz, innit (@Matsukaze1310) reported

@aimeecharnell @virginmedia Plusnet were appalling when I had broadband with them. Ended up with no internet for about 2 months when I was in final year of med school because of their dire customer service then when they did eventually agree to come out to look at it, they still made a hash of it

@hookandpinweb @Plusnet You can change your monthly data bundle every month up or down. Depending what data you're on now it's only like 2.50 to double it in most cases
